Yet another scheme of Zach's thwarted by the Wild Kratts, and as a result, a multitude of his Zacbots were either demolished to pieces or crushed into metal pancakes by the Kratt brothers' latest creature power.
Although he felt crushed by another failure, Zach kept a rigid face as he yelled his vows at the Kratt team, "Don't you worry, I'll be back with a better plan! No, a grander plan!" He hollered and cackled from his jet. "You'll see, you Wild Rats!"
The brothers were about to correct him when Aviva shouts from the Tortuga.
"What? With another plan which undoubtedly will be a failure like always? I don't understand why you keep trying anyway. You know we always stop you. And that I will always be the better inventor of the two of us. But I guess you'll never change, will you Zach? Staying the same old evil person, you've been since the beginning."
Then silence came over all of them, including Zach, who stood frozen in place, looking on with dumbfounded, hurt eyes. With a single wave of his hand, Zach calls all of his bots into the jet, closes up its doors, and flies away.
As Zach's jet becomes a distant spot, the other members of the Wild Kratt team turn sharply to Aviva who was a bit shocked at Zach's response.
"Hey, why did you have to be so harsh, Aviva?" Chris questioned her with genuine concern.
"Yeah!"Martin adds as he steps beside his brother. "I mean, we all know Zach isn't the best, but no need to say all that to him."
Jimmy Z nods his head in agreement, and adds, "Major harshness."
"What?"Aviva starts while crossing her arms defensively. "I was only telling the truth."
"But sometimes the brutal truth doesn't need to be said," Koki remarks while coming to Aviva's side and placing a hand on her shoulder. "Next time, put a little more thought before letting your words out."
Aviva looks up at the sky where Zach's jet was, feeling a little unsure and maybe a little guilty.
Zach was slouched in his usual red throne-like chair staring at the Zachbot flying the jet home. Usually after a bust, he was pouty looking in his seat, but today, Zach's face only reads of sorrow as he lays his head in his hands.
His robots try to cheer him up with his favorite things, black balloons, and black-and-white cookies. They even offer him his inventor notebook, hoping it would trigger him to doodle. However, Zach completely disregards them during the whole ride.
Several of the Zachbots exchange mechanical looks and beep in the question of their master's unusual behavior.
When they finally land at Zach's landing warehouse stationed next to his skyscraper in New York City, he slowly gets up from his seat and walks with his slumped posture out of the warehouse and into the skyscraper. His bots follow close at his heels to the elevator. Before they get inside the elevator with him, Zach holds up his hand, stopping them.
"I'd rather be alone. So, stay down here and tend to the ship."
With that, Zach pushes a button on the elevator control panel, closing the doors on the bots.
As the elevator heads up to the top floor, Zach stuffs his hands into his gray pants and leans against the wall while scuffing at the floor with his shoes.
Thoughts keep racing through his mind as he feels anguish.
'Have I really failed as an inventing genius? Is it worth going through some of my ideas? Am I... truly evil since...forever?'
