 QualifyIng

It was now my first qualifying ever in F1. And I was nervous to say the least. I was in my drivers room getting my suit on when there was a knock.
Come in. I yelled.
DANNY! I ran up and hugged him.
ALLLY! He yelled back.
Remember there is no reason to be scared you gonna do great! He told me.
Classic Danny. I chuckled.
He put his arm around me as we were walking out into the paddock to grab a bit of food because we had 2 hours before qualifying. I force broke Daniels hand from my shoulder.
What are we doing guys? Charles annoying voice rung through my ear.
Grabbing food. Wanna come? Daniel asked.
Charles nodded. Of course he had to walk right through me and Daniel. Overprotective brother alert. I was looking around because Charles and Daniel were having there own little conversation. I met Lando's soft gaze on my eyes.
Hey let me meet you there. I told the boys.
Okay? Charles questioned.
I ran over to Lando.

Charles pov

I watched as Alice walked away with the biggest grin on her face. She walked over to Lando.
They would be so cute together. Daniel tapped me.
Are you out of your mind. Absolutely not. Never. I told him.
Your so overprotective of her. Let her live a little. He told me.
Maybe he was right.

Alice Pov

Hey Lando! I told him.
Hey Alice! He side hugged me.
Exited for the first race? I asked him.
Ya. I hope to see both of us on the podium! He smiled.
Umm...do you wanna maybe go get drinks later? I asked nervously.
Ya! Text me later. He winked.
I will. I said as I walked away.
DID I JUST ASK LANDO NORRIS FOR DRINKS. THE BOY THAT I HAVE KNOWN SINCE WE WHERE 10! Why was I excited. Why did I have butterflies..DID I REALLY LIKE LANDO NORRIS. Charles and Arthur would actually kill me if they knew.
I ran into the cafe to find Daniel and Charles. They were sitting at a table in the corner.
I sat down and Daniel had mouthed "text me" and then he winked. I pulled out my phone and told him what happened.
HOLY MAC AND CHE-. He started to yell.
I kicked him under the table before he could yell his whole sentence. Charles was just looking at us. He knew something was up. 
What's going on? Charles asked.
Alice aske-. I kicked him hard this time.
I mouthed "shut up" to Daniel. He just giggled.
Nothing important Charles.  I told him.
He was going to say something when I got up and left to "get ready for the qualifying".
Once I was back into my drivers room. I did my pregame/qualifying ritual. I would pretend my dad was still here and talk to him. I knew he would be so proud of me.
And we gave the green light! Matteo rings through my headset.
I pulled out of the pit lanes and I was ready to start the show.

I ran out of my car the straight Arthur who came to watch me.
You did great! He hugged me.
Thanks! I told him.
Soon Charles ran out of his car.
Amazing! He hugged me too.
I walked through the garage getting congratulations from all the team members. I got dressed and then went to find Daniel.
Congrats kiddo! He scratched my head messing my hair up.
Thanks! But I need your help. I told him.
He shook his head in agreement.
I told Lando drinks. Does that mean bar or club or even restaurant?!? And what do I wear. I struggled.
Just ask him and then depending on what he said wear something that goes with that. Daniel the wise told me.
Thanks! I smiled at him.
Want a ride back to the hotel? Daniel asked.
I'm actually riding with Charles but thanks. I told him.
He nodded and mouthed "good luck".
I was walking back to my garage. When I saw Max, Checo, Bottas, and Zhou talking about me?
This is what I heard.
Max: it's so stupid to let a girl race she is ruining the sport.
Bottas: now everyone is going to be all in love with her.
Zhou: it's taking away from racing.
Checo: let's make a bet. $100 bucks from everyone to the person who can get her off the track that counts for every race this season.
Everyone: I'm in.
DID THEY JUST MAKE A BET ON PUTTING ME IN DANGER. THAT WAS A DEATH THREAT. I walked pasted them and said hello as if I didn't hear there conversation. Tears started to stream from my eyes and all the sudden I ran into something.
Aggg. I grunted.
You okay? Lando asked.
I quickly wiped my eyes.
Why are you crying? His thumb brushed over my cheek.
Stubbed my dang toe. I chuckled.
I personally thought I was really good a lying.
Sounds like you. But umm I don't think I could go out with you tonight something came up. He told me.
Oh that's fine. I will see you at the party tomorrow? I asked as if I wasn't hurt.
Of course! And you did great today! He told me as he walked away.
I nodded and continued my walk to my garage.
Charles was in his drivers room with Arthur waiting on me.
Why are you crying? Arthur asked.
I forgot to go to the bathroom to fix my messy face. Charles immediately stood up.
I stubbed my toe. I told them.
Bullcrap. What happened? Charles asked.
Like I said I stubbed my toe really hard. I tried to tell them.
I will find out eventually. Arthur told Charles.
We began to walk to the car. Me and Arthur were the slowest walkers. Charles was far ahead of us.
How did ritual go this morning? He asked.
He was the only person I ever told about that.
I grabbed onto his arm and my head was resting on his arm as well.
Todays was the hardest. I told him.
He kissed the top of my head. I looked up and Charles was looking at us. Almost mad. Why was he mad? The car ride home was silent until Arthur started to yell at me when I was beating him and golf on a game on our phones. Charles was silent the whole was home. I got to my hotel room and crashed onto the bed. This whole day had been crazy the all the sudden my phone went off.
