A WEEK LATER

11:45 AM

I woke up to screaming outside. I looked over and Bryce wasn't in the bed. "Now who the fuck is yelling this fucking early." I say putting on pants and walking downstairs. Nobody was over which is weird. It was just my baby on the couch. "Hi mommy." Gianna says looking up from the couch. "Hi my love." I say walking outside.

 I saw Bryce screaming at a neighbor from up the street. "Hey! Whats going on?" I yell catching both of their attention. "I was just about to call you..." Bryce sighs in relief. "What happened? Why are you holding the dogs like that?" I asked him. "Your dogs attacked my dog and grandson." The middle-aged woman says. "Were they in the yard?" I asked Bryce. "Yeah." He nodded. "You sat out here and argued with her while they're in their yard?!" I say getting annoyed. He sighed and nodded. I looked at the lady "Now what?" I shrugged at her. "Those dogs are dangerous and should be in a fenced in yard." She says. "They are in the back. They follow my husband if they go out the front. My god if they go piss or shit in the grass while he's doing something else." I say sarcastically. "I fear for those babies if those dogs got ahold of them." She sighs. "Lady what the fuck ever." I scoffed and walked to my mailbox. "Bryce get the dogs and get out that lady's face." I say looking through the mail. "Next time get leash if they're not in a fence." She says to Bryce cause she wasn't talking to me. "Get your grandchild a leash then I will." I smiled at her before walking into the house. "Stupid bitch." I say walking into the kitchen. "Badword!" Gianna yells. "Honey child have you eaten?" I asked her. I looked at Bryce and he shrugged. "Yes, Uncle Cam got me up." She says. "Oh wait till her hears this." I say looking at Bryce. He smirked.

"But what happened anyways tell me what happened." I say starting the coffee machine. "Okay so last night we forgot her iPad in the car and I ran out to get and they followed me per usual. I saw they were doing they're business so I ran in and gave Gianna her iPad, guess that lady was walking past with her ratty dog and from what I saw her dog came onto our yard, and Kota nipped and Oasis growled." He says. I tried to hold my laugh in at "ratty dog" "What time did this happen?" I say. "Like eleven thirty, thrity five?" He says. I pulled up the garage outside camera that hits the front yard as well. Even tho we in the burbs we gotta have security still. I looked through the history and went back. I caught when she came past the house, the kid was in the yard first walking up to Kota and the dog followed and jumped on Kota and that's when Kota freaks out and Oasis jumps back in a stance. "The kid started it." I say showing him the footage. "Wha-?" He says taking my phone. I  made my cup of coffee. "And she's all in her phone which makes it no better." He scoffed. "I know I saw that." I nodded. "You right get that kid a leash then we'll get one. Even tho we have a thousand of them." He says folding his arms. I laughed because he's right. "But I gotta go meet Cam on your behalf of the sway house because as of today you're seven months and you officially cannot work." He says kissing my forehead. That kinda hurt my feelings a little. "Oh wow... yay!" I say fake smiling. "I know you hate it." He says hugging me. "Guess I could use a break... after next week." I point at him because we'll have a four year old on our hands. "It's already planned there's nothing else for use to do." He says interlocking our fingers. "What about a cake?" I asked. "We got it." He says. "Her outfit?" I say. "Closer to date." He says. "What-" "Babe it's done, I love you I gotta go." He laughs while kissing me. 

I sighed because what am I supposed to do now? "Mommyyyy..." Gianna calls me. "What's up?" I say grabbing my coffee and  walking into the living room. She pointed at he TV. The auto play turned off on Disney +. "I guess it's just me and you today baby. What do you wanna do?"I say sitting down and looking at her. She shrugged. "I don't know, what do you wanna do?" She says crossing her legs. Her speaking is getting so much clearer, I love it. "I don't know, you wanna go to the movies?" I asked her. "We got movies here?" She says laying back. I laughed. I take it she doesn't wanna leave today. "We staying in boo?" I asked her. She nodded. "That's fine with me, not a problem." I say kicking my feet up and sipping my coffee.
