"No I can't trust him..."The boy thought to himself and shook his head
"Why do you keep glancing at me?"Halilintar asked with annoyence in his voice
"I-i'm sorry..."The boy apologized and looked away
Halilintar sighed in annoyence and patted the ground next to him"Sit here"
Without the boy's realization his body moved and he sat next to him
"Eh???Why did I do that???He's not using magic to control me right...?"The boy thought and looked at Halilintar with fear in his eyes
"I didn't use magic on you"Halilintar reassured him"So,what's bothering you?"
"It's nothing..."The boy replied and looked down
"You're bad at lying"Halilintar stated"Just tell me"
"N-no I don't even know you..."
"Exactly"
The boy was confused by Halilintar's reply and he explains
"Because I'm a stranger to you.You can easily tell me what's on your mind.I mean that it's not likely that we would meet again and you have don't have to worry about me saying it to someone else.It's not like it would affect you in any way when I tell it to someone I know,because they are also a stranger to you"
"You have a point..."The boy replied"But...I don't know either..."
"Just say it"
After the boy thought for a while he agreed
"My name is Thorn.I was born in a village....I used to have a lot of friends,but not anymore....They all betrayed me....including my family...My parents used me and made me work for them....they would always tell me that it's a way to show my love for them....or my friends that I thought I could trust....they made me do everything for them...their homework,chores,give them money and they always guilt trip me whenever I refused.I didn't want to lose my parents nor my friends,so I did everything they asked me for...but they still betrayed me...my friends left me while my parents tried to sold me....luckily I manage to escape before they sold me.From that day on I kept traveling in hope of finding a place to call home,but the only thing I found were bad people that used me again and again and people that would hurt me....I just want a 'home'...I want to find someone that I could trust....but I can't....I made it hard for myself to do that...If I trust someone,then they will betray me and use me,but when I don't trust them,I will never find someone who I can truly trust because I never gave them a chance...I always trust the wrong person..."
Thorn started to cry and Halilintar patted his back
"Trust them,but not to much,so it wouldn't hurt when they betray you"Halilintar suggested
"Easy for you to say,but I get attached to fast..."Thorn replied
"I know someone who you can trust"
"Who...?"
"Gempa and Taufan,they are nice and they don't have any reason to betray you"
"R-really...?"
"Yes"
Thorn didn't say anything else and looked at the ground
"It's your choice"Halilintar said as he stood up"You can come to our house when you decide to trust them"
"Wait!"
"Hm?"
"Why didn't you say that I could also trust you?"
"Because you can't"
"Why not?"
"I'm a demon"
"Not all demon are bad,the same goes for humans,not all humans are nice"
"I guess,but you still can't trust me"
"Why?"
"A person that you give your trust to,should be someone that cares about you and I can't do that"
With that Halilintar left,leaving Thorn there all alone
"He is different..."Thorn mumbled
After a while Thorn decided to go there
"I will give them a chance!I will do it just like he said,I won't trust them that much,so I won't get hurt!"Thorn thought to himself and took a deep breath before knocking on the door
"Ye- eh???You came!"Taufan said excitedly"Come in!"
Taufan introduced him to Gempa and they went to take care of Thorn
"Damn...you look so different now that you are clean"Taufan commented after
Thorn had finish showering and treating his wound
"Really?"
"Yeah!You were so dirty that I didn't even realize that you had green eyes!I was to focused at your messy hair that was covered in mud....no offense"
"No offense taken"Thorn replied and smiled
"Aww you're smile is adorable!Right Gempa?"Taufan said in awe
Gempa nodded in agreement and Thorn became embarrassed
"Hm...the clotches is a bit big....I will sew you a smaller one tomorrow okay?"Gempa said
"Okay"
After that,they went down and gave Thorn some food to eat
"Thank you Hali"Taufan whispered to Halilintar
"There's no reason for you to thank me"Halilintar said and took a book to read
"He is so kind....he convinced him to come....I don't know what his reason is,but whatever it is,his action is nice..."Taufan thought to himself and smiled
Everyone went to sleep since it was late.Thorn slept at Halilintar's room with Taufan while Gempa slept on a blanket on the ground.
"Why did I even want to listen to his story..."Halilintar asked himself
He looked at a picture of Boboiboy and sighed "He is to similiar to him..."

"You're bad at lying"

"Boboiboy"Halilintar's voice became demanding
"Hali...promise me that I will always be your number one..."Boboiboy said and looked at him with hope in his eyes
"I promise"
Boboiboy was touched and hugged him while crying
"I won't leave you..."

"I miss you..."Halilintar mumbled and went to sleep
"I remind him of someone....?That why he wanted to help me?"Thorn asked himself as he stood behind a wall
He was thirsty and wanted to get a glass of water when he heard Halilintar mumbling to himself
"So that's why he can't care about me...?Because he loves someone else...someone that he truly trust...he must be nice....to the point that he doesn't allow anyone else in his heart..."
Thorn went back to the room and went to sleep
