C H A P T E R 4

LU SI CHENG'S POV

Chao-Xing rushed down the stairs with a pair of sneakers in her hand. She went to the table to grab her phone then went to change her shoes and leave. I don't know but I suddenly got the urge to hit the living hell out of lu yue, but I have something better. I took my phone out and called my mother. after a few rings, she picked up. I walked outside on the balcony so the guys won't hear me

Mrs. Lu: Lu si cheng what happened? why are you calling at this hour?

Me: Your son insulted our new teammate and slapped her

Mrs. Lu: ok let me get this straight Lu Yue insulted and slapped you guy's new teammate who happens to be a girl.

Me: yeah

Mrs. Lu: then why didn't you guys do anything

Me: Mom it happened so fast-

Mrs. Lu: Okay okay come to ZGDX headquarters tomorrow afternoon with your brother, brother Rui and the girl

Cheng: alright goodnight Mom tell father goodnight

Mrs. Lu: Alright goodnight son see you tomorrow.

I hung up and then went back inside. Brother Rui came up to me with a worried expression. I'm guessing it's about Chao-Xing.

Rui: Brother Cheng please go look for Chao-Xing, It's dark outside and a lot of things can happen to a young girl like her out there plus it's cold out there and she's only wearing a skirt and t-shirt.

Me: don't worry I'll go look for her, btw tomorrow we have to go to headquarters tell lu yue

He nodded in agreement and turned to leave. I walked over to the shoe cabinet and changed into some sneakers and went out.

I turned on my flashlight and started looking for Chao-xing.  I saw a small light flashing not too far away. I walked toward it and saw Chao-Xing looking alongside the road.

I walk up to her and tapped her shoulder, she jumped and turned around. When she saw me she glared at me but It didn't faze me she just looks like a baby tiger.

Xing: Good god you scared me

Me: What are you doing?

Xing: I'm looking for my kids

Me: without a jacket?

Xing: why do you care if I have a jacket on or not?

I sigh and rolled my eyes at her behavior, but seriously why did I find it cute? I heard something shuffle in the bushes behind me. I turned around and shined my flashlight at the area. I saw a white thing with black spots move around alongside the sidewalk. I look over at Chao Xing and I couldn't see her. 

I started to panic a little looking around for her just then I heard a scream coming from deep in the bushes. I walk to where I heard the scream then I saw Chao Xing on the ground holding her ankle.

Me: what happened now ?

Xing: I...I trip and fell.

Me: then what's up with your ankle?

Xing: It hurts a little I don't know if it's sprained or twisted.

I go down to her level and took her ankle in my hands. when I touched it she winced, I look up at her to see her looking at me already. I looked into her eyes and I almost got lost but I snapped out of my trans.

Me: It's just a sprain we need to put Ice on it before it gets worse

Xing: no it's fine 

She says getting up, wincing in the process, I see a slight redness in her face specifically on her cheek where she was slapped. I shined my flashlight in her face causing her to complain. I ignore her and look at her cheek, It was crimson red and swollen.

Me: your cheek is swollen we need to put ointment on it.

Xing: I'm fine I don't need help, I still need to find my bunn~

I had enough of this, I picked her up in bridal style and started carrying her back to base. I saw both of her bunnies next to a bush snuggled up together they are probably cold, I mean it's pretty cold at night here so. I think Chao Xing didn't notice them cause she was busy yelling at me to put her down.

I enter the base and then walked up the stairs to her room. She opened the door still in my arms, I walk inside and set her down on the bed. She tried getting up but I looked at her and said.

Me: Stay, I'll be right back.

She wanted to protest but let it go. I internally smirked at her pouty face and left her room. I exited the base and towards the bushes where I saw the bunnies. I crouch down and picked them up and carried them inside. I grab the first aid box from the top of the fridge and went upstairs to Chao xings room.

When I entered her room, she immediately jumped up and started limping toward me.

I think she was going towards the bunnies not You

shut up before I stop talking to you for the rest of your life

She tried taking the bunnies from me but I stepped back, she looked at me with an upset and confused look but I didn't mind it and walked over to the bunnies playpen and placed them inside.

I turn to look at Xing and she was already staring at me 'see something you like', Se looked away and I couldn't help but crack a smile but Immediately replaced it and walked over to her.

" sit"

She sat down and kneeled down infront of her then took out the first aid kit. I rubbed on some ointment on her swollen ankle.

" Lay down and put your feet on the bed"

She did as I said and I placed a heating pack on her ankle then covered her with the duvet.I cleaned the first aid items then walked towards the door. I was about to open the door when Xing called me

xing: brother Chen

"yes?"

Xing: Thank you for everything

I give her a slight nod and told her to get some rest, I switched off the lights then left her room. I went downstairs and put the first aid back then went back to my room.  I changed out of my clothes into some Pj pants and no shirt then went to bed.
