Raph's POV:
Mikey woke up first out of all of us, he seems the most excited about our birthday. He bangs on my room door to wake me up
"Stop banging on my door or else I'll go out there and throw you at your own!" I threatened, which worked, he backed off. Going to annoy Donnie it seemed. As I heard Donnie yelp when Mikey started banging on his door. I laughed to myself about that then left my room to go get food.  Food sounded nice right now.
I walk into the kitchen to find a groggy Donnie, quiet Leo, and an Excited Mikey gathered in the kitchen.
"Look who finally decided to show up," Donnie said sarcastically. I give him an eye-roll. I look at the food, I was kinda getting tired of this mush being the only thing we can eat. I sit down and stare at the food, only poking at it.
"Are you going to eat?" Splinter asked, walking up behind him. Scarring me, as always.
"Yeah! What makes you thing I won't?" I ask, my tone as my usual angry one. I hated being "The Angry Brother" but there wasn't much I could do about my anger issues. It's not like I can just waltz into whatever Mental health inste- whatever and get that done.
I start eating finally
and only got a few bites in until I got "Full" I wasn't really, I just hated the food.
Micheal started up the conversation on going to the surface, as we were all fifteen. The other three thought we were old enough to explore the surface, and since I was the only one who thought differently, I joined in on the convincing.
"Hey Master Splinter?" Mikey started off.
"Yes, Michelangelo?" Splinter asked in return.
"Could we all, maybe go uh" Mikey stammered, he got a bit awkward.
"We want to explore the surface of the city." Leo completes Mikey's thought.
The room goes silent for a few seconds.

"Absolutely-" Splinter says.
The other three started to cheer, I was honestly confused.
"-Not" Splinter adds. I knew that was to easy, I mean- it's Master Splinter, he's gonna use his weird tricks to get up hyped up for something useless, it always somehow works for training.

(I hope you don't mind me making Raph actually really smart when not under to much pressure)

"Why not Master splinter? We're 15, you can't keep up down here forever," Leo protested.
"Yeah! We need to expand our knowledge to get better at being ninjas, so I wouldn't think exploration would be bad." Donnie says, I honestly hate it when he uses weird words. But I can't go against him.
"Yeah, what he said." I pitch in, sounding like I agree with them. Hopefully-

Splinter lets out a sigh, "fine, you boys can go up there, but not for long, you must be home before Dawn."
"Dawn-?" Mikey wonders out loud.
"Morning." Splinter explains.
