A not so pleasant adventure

Getting lost...

Raph's POV

After we get the surprise of Splinter letting us up to the surface. We all scatter to grab our weapons, that we aren't highly trained with, and leave for the surface. I didn't know any of us could really be trusted up there without more training with our weapons. But I shrugged it off and we continued in our adventure.

We all moved as a group and after awhile I was leading the group where we were going.

Or at least I thought I was-

I looked behind me to say something to my brothers, but they weren't there.

I started to run back where I came from, but I couldn't remember where I turned before and just got lost. I panicked as I ran faster. I saw a human in between these tall things and I hid from it.

We were warned by Splinter to not get seen by anything else, that's why we had to be back by Morning. He said, "once the sun rises and it gets bright out, the streets will be flooded with humans" and that's why we can't be out during the day.

I look around for a way of escape and I see this staircase, but it looks loud. I also see these bits of the wall hanging out under these clear boxes. (Windows) I decide to use that. I jump up those and get about halfway up the wall before I accidentally slipped and fell. I had no idea why I fell, maybe because I was panicked? It couldn't be, I've trained in a panicked mindset. Mainly because it was vs Master Splinter- but that doesn't matter! I've trained in that mindset, why would that make me fall? I noticed how far I was to the ground and then I realized how much time I stupidly wasted thinking about why I fell! I hit the ground shell-first and I heard a small crack out of the large thump of me hitting the ground. I was now in pain in the ground, now I'm wondering where the hell I can hide to check on my shell. But while sitting up the damn human had already walked up to me. They had a disgusting smirk on their face, which got me to my feet quickly and ready to attack.

"Ah, a feisty one~" they said.

I got angry that they had seen me, but even more angry that they called me "feisty" whatever that meant.

They got closer to me and I backed up. Not knowing I was being stupid and falling into their trap- my shell hit the wall and they just got closer to me.
I went to stab with my weapons and attack them, but they dodged and managed to get my weapons out of my hand.. I didn't even notice when they did until I attacked with just my fists and I saw that my weapons were gone.
I was so confused and I looked around to see that they were on the ground across from us at the other wall.

I just started punching at them. Which worked for awhile. I got them down, but they still had that stupid smirk on their face.

I walk over to grab my twin sais but I feel something grab my ankle. I freak out and fall over. Unlucky for me, my sais were out of reach.

That damn human grabbed me. And damn are they strong- I kicked at them with my other leg but they ended up just grabbing that one too with their other arm.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!" I shout as they get closer to me...

....

Leo's POV

"Guys?" Donnie grabs our attention.
I look at him, Mikey does too. And I think Raph would, but I don't see him at first.
"What?" Me and Mikey ask at the same time.
"Where did Raph go?" Donnie asks.
"Wait- huh?" I look around and realize that Raph did go somewhere without us.
"RAPH?" Mikey shouted into the darkness of the city.
"Shhhhh!" Donnie shushes Mikey, "we can't wake anything. We can't get caught!" He says.
"Right, right." Mikey replies.
"But how are we going to find him?" I ask.
"Well- we could split up and then meet up with eachother at the door home at dawn." Donnie explains.
"But what if we get lost?" I chime in.
"Well- uh- I don't know!" Donnie replies, freaking out about my statement.
"We could just all look together- we don't have to split up." Mikey says, for once looking smart.
"I think that may be the best idea to not get lost." Donnie admits

We all take a breath to calm down and then we start our search for our brother.

Donnie's POV

For once I heard Micheal being smart, which was surprising, I keep track of where we've been and which turns we've taken as to not get lost. The other two look around and quietly call out for Raph as we look. Usually Raph isn't really far out.. maybe he was running? Maybe he's been gone for longer than I thought?... that wouldn't be good... what if something happened to him! Wouldn't he be looking for us too? This is so confusing!

I was pulled out of my thoughts by Mikey tapping my shoulder.
"Leo ran off." He commented.
"Oh Damnit! He said he wouldn't!" I exclaimed
"Not really- you just said sticking together would be smart." Mikey said.
"Oh shut up, we need to follow him, where did he go?" I ask him.
"That way." he pointed down a street to our right.
We run down that way and he start hearing quiet short hiccups and sniffles. Also Leo talking.

We both run up to them and see Raph sitting against the wall with his arms tightly wrapped around his legs, which were up to his chest. Leo seemed to be trying to calm him down and explain what happened. But he kept saying quiet. I can tell he's trying to not cry by holding his breath, as it didn't look like he was breathing. But he had his eyes open and was focused on Leo speaking.

Mikey walked across the alley from us three and picked up his twin sais, someone must have attacked him or something.. but that wouldn't explain his panic, and lack of injuries, other than a small light bruise on his shoulder and a.. Hm.. a bite mark on his leg? He must have been attacked by an animal or something. And even then, he wouldn't have been this panicked and freaked out.
Leo put his hand on Raphael's shoulder and he kicked Leo away shouting, "DON'T TOUCH ME!!" He was visibly shaking...
Leo groaned a bit but got up off the ground.
"The sun's rising!" Mikey called from the street, running towards us.

Leo's POV

I look over at Micheal, who was running over to us telling us about it already being dawn.
So Raph has been out here all night like this!
I sigh, "Raph, we need to get home, are you able to stand?" I ask.
He stares at me with this confused look but then realizes what Mikey has said to us. He used the wall behind him as support as he tries to stand but stumbles and falls over. I run over to catch him, I could feel that he was shaky.
"Should I carry you home?" I ask him.
He was silent, he hasn't said a word to me other than yelling at me to not touch him. He seemed to hav realized I'm trying to help him now. He nods slightly and curls up in my arms. Eventually hiding in his shell while we started walking back.
That gave me a chance to see if there was any damage to his shell. And surely enough there was. Of course he got himself into a fight. There was a small crack near the edge, and another near the middle. The edge one may have hurt, but it wasn't detrimental, but we would need to get the middle one patched up. It wasn't bleeding, thankfully, it wasn't that deep. But it still would need to get patched up.

"We need to hurry!" I say and start running.
Donnie nods and then runs ahead of me. He was leading, as he had remembered the way home.
Mikey was followed. In sight of me, as I knew he had a tendency of running off or getting distracted.

3rd person POV

The turtles managed to get home without being seen by anything. Thankfully.

Splinter was proud of them until he saw Raphael's current state.
"What happened to Raphael?" He asked.

The drama is starting. I hope people can figure out what happened. And let me know how I did at explaining stuff, this is my first published story, and I'm a bit nervous.
