The Party was in Mikes basement.
Summer vacations just started and it was calm. maybe too calm for the liking of everyone but a break from time to time is always taken, knowing the what last 4 years looked like. The 6 now teenagers were chilling and talking about everything and nothing at the same time, just happy to be together and happy to finally be on good terms with everyone.
El had her head on her boyfriends shoulder while talking to her best friend Max. The red haired girl was sitting on the floor while her boyfriend was sitting on the couch, playing video games with Dustin. Mike was bored out of his mind, he liked spending time with El, but lately she was asking to spend too much time together and it was secretly tiring Mike.
The young teen was daydreaming and looked around to get out of his thoughts and suddenly his gaze stopped on a brunet with gorgeous hazel eyes that he knew too well but didn't get tired of. Will moved back in Hawkins, his mom accepted when everything ended. He was currently watching Lucas and Dusting playing video games and acted like he was interested in it but in reality he just wanted to go home and draw a bit to escape this place that secretly hurted him badly. He then felt eyes on him on looked around till his hazel eyes met the dark chocolat ones of his crush, Mike Wheeler.
The brunets face got warmer and prayed that Mike didn't noticed it. He shyly waved and Mike chuckled and waved too while smiling at his childhood friend. Will then noticed El, his now step-sister, how close she was to Mike and oh how he wished he was at her place. He wished he could love Mike freely like she does, he wished he could hold his hand, he wished he could kiss him, even just once but who was he kidding ? It's the 80's and in a small town, if someone knew he did that... Will doesn't even want to know what would happen.
Will heard his heart break a little bit when he saw El kissing Mike and looked away while trying to hold his tears in. He was then startled by the loud voice of Dustin. :
"YES !! I WON !! HA SUCK MY DICK SINCLAIR" said Dustin a little bit too enthusiastic. Lucas looked annoyed and sighed loudly
"How are you so good at these games ?! It's not fair ! You surly cheated man !" said the boy who just lost
"Now now, don't be a bad looser Lucas. He won and that's like that, sorry" said Max. El started laughing at the little fight her friends were having. Mike looked amused and Will was smiling at the interaction.
