~~Renge's POV~~
Instinct took over. And that instinct was to fight.

"Why the hell do you show up now?!" I screamed, shooting fire at Aang.

Aang dodged but he refused to fight back.

Multiple times, he ran into bamboo walls with Sakura Tree designs on them.

"You let my parents die!!! You disappeared and left people to fight on their own!!!!!! Imagine how the children felt when the Fire Nation killed our families!!!!!" I screamed.

"I'm so-" I cut Aang off.

"SORRY DOESNT CUT IT!!!!!!!" Tears began to steam down my pale face.

"Renge, you need to calm down. He couldn't help it. He was trapped."

I turned and glared at my companion. Still shooting fire at Aang, I stared Zatora down.

I heard the sound of a wall crumbling, then I felt a soft breeze. We were now in the garden.

"YA!!!!! GO RENGE!!!!! BEAT TWINKLE TOES!!!!!" Toph cheered. She pumped a fist up into the air.

I tried my hardest not to laugh.

"Don't encourage her! But Renge, please calm down... He's sorry. He couldn't help it..." Zatora's voice was soothing but I was going to fight for my parents.

I didn't pay attention to where I was aiming because I was too focused on Zatora. All I heard was a loud grunt.

"OPPA!!!!! NO!!!!" Aang screamed.

I turned and looked. It was a now hairless flying bison. Aang turned to me and looked... Angry..?

"How could you do that to Oppa?!" He yelped.

I continued.

"Renge! Stop it right now!"

"I don't wanna! He didn't help my parents!" I replied. I sounded like a little kid.

"Sorry!" Zatora yelled to me.p

~~Zatora's POV~~

I felt bad. I truly did, but I had to do what I had to do so she wouldn't kill Aang.

With complicated movements of my arms, wrists, and hands, I was blood bending. Yea... You heard me. Blood bending.

Renge's face cringed in pain as Katara, Sokka, Aang, and Toph- Actually not Toph- watched me with wonder in their eyes.

Renge may have been pained, but she stopped bending.

I tried not to look at her, so I focused on the locus flowers, tulips, and white roses that filled the gardens.

I looked back and Renge and she was... Fighting the blood bending?!?!

"Stop! What are you doing?! You're gonna get hurt!" I flipped out on her.

I was worried about her body.

The more she fought it, the more pain she would be put through. And if she kept fighting, a vein could pop and...!!!

"Renge. You're going to get yourself hurt! Just stop fighting it!" I yelled soothingly.

Renge stopped. All together, she just stopped.

"Thank you..." I sighed.

Apparently, I still hadn't stopped bending. The color drained from her face and she crumpled to the ground, unconscious.

"R-Renge!!!!!" I stuttered.

Guilt over took my body as I watched Katara, Sokka, and Aang hurry over to her. I expected her to move at least a small amount, but she didn't.

I remained in the garden as the 3 carried her inside, into a room for her to rest in.

•••TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY LEVI'S FEATHER DUSTER•••

Hours turned to days. Days turned to weeks, and Renge still hadn't woken up.

On the day the 4th week started, Renge stirred.

She awoke with news that startled us all. Enough to where Aang came to me with a humble request for advice.

I intended to help him. And Renge, was going to be put through hell in this warring world.
