**Tegan's POV**

Tegan found herself walking away from Brooklyn at the dance party, her heart heavy with concern and uncertainty. Being 21 and Brooklyn only 15, Tegan couldn't help but feel worried about the nature of their budding relationship. The age gap weighed on her, raising questions that demanded answers.

Solemn and contemplative, Tegan spent the rest of the night lost in her thoughts. She wandered through the vibrant atmosphere of the party, observing the joy and laughter surrounding her, yet feeling detached from it all. The music that once swayed her soul now seemed distant and muted.

**Katarina's POV**

Meanwhile, Katarina found herself outside, embracing the solace of nature's embrace with Nicholas by her side. They stood beneath a canopy of twinkling stars, the gentle breeze carrying with it a sense of serenity. Their souls danced to the rhythm of the night as they exchanged playful banter and delved into conversations about the simplest of things.

As they strolled along a moonlit path, Katarina and Nicholas discussed the upcoming events that lay ahead. Their voices were filled with excitement and anticipation as they planned out Tegan's birthday cake reveal. They imagined the look of surprise on Tegan's face when she discovered the hidden message within the layers of sweet indulgence.

Amidst their laughter and shared dreams, Katarina couldn't help but feel a profound gratitude for the person standing beside her. Nicholas had become her pillar of strength, offering unwavering support during her darkest moments. Together, they had found solace and joy, their hearts intertwining like the delicate steps of a perfect dance routine.

"You know," I began, a playful smile tugging at the corners of my lips, "I never imagined finding someone like you in the midst of such a humiliating disaster that night after leaving Del Posto."

Nicholas chuckled softly, his eyes sparkling with warmth. " Fate has a way of weaving its magic in the most unexpected places."

We paused near a cluster of blooming flowers, their delicate fragrance filling the air around us. Nicholas gently brushed a stray strand of hair behind my ear, his touch sending a pleasant shiver down my spine.

"You've brought so much light into my life," I admitted, my voice filled with sincerity.

Nicholas's gaze softened, "Katarina, you're the kindest person I've ever known. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your life."

My heart pounding and hands sweaty, I realized we may have been outside for way too long.

"Let's go talk to Suzanne and make sure it's okay to announce Tegan's birthday and bring out her cake," I suggested, excitement bubbling within me.
