Arabella
I just finished my first week at Oakwood High, and let's just say, I'm exhausted.
Some things I've learnt is that there is always drama, and it's most if not always started with Riley. Another thing is that every. Single. Girl is in love with either this guy on the football team called Seth, or Leon, or both.
Theo and I have become quite close though over this week, and it's nice to know what it feels like to have someone who you can agree with on so many things and feel comfortable around.
Though there has been a major disagreement in this friendship so far.
Instagram is better than TikTok.
Like, come on, seriously? You can scroll through TikTok all day. But Instagram? You've got about fifteen minutes max and then you're done, there's nothing else to see unless you're stalking people.
Anyway, it's Saturday today, and Theo and I have planned to go shopping.
I think I'm probably in need of a few more clothes, plus, even if I don't end up buying anything, it's still fun to just get out and do something with someone.
I know my mom would be pleased anyway, she was always telling me to get out of the house and do something with myself, but I never really had friends who cared enough to make time for going out.
Once I finish getting ready, I put my outfit on for the day, which was a simple black romper that I paired with my handbag,
Grabbing my phone and keys, I hear Theo beep her car horn from outside. I quickly rush to the front door, not wanting to make her wait, and leave locking it behind me.
On our way to the mall, Theo blasts music like 'Chase Atlantic', 'Lana Del Rey', 'One Direction' and some I don't even recognise.
Not that I would ever complain, her taste in music is just perfection, it was basically just a karaoke trip.
Arriving at the mall, we jump out of her car and head towards the entrance,
"Oh by the way, there's a college party next Friday if you wanna come, I was thinking about buying an outfit for it. But don't feel like you have to if you don't want to," Theo tells me, how can I turn down a party, it will probably give me a chance to meet more people and get to know them.
"Yeah I'll come. I'll have to find an outfit too. How do you know about college parties anyway?" I question, wondering where she gets the news from.
"As I've said, the grade above and ours were pretty close." she shrugs before continuing, "Plus, it's gonna be Ajax's party, and he's probably the closest to our grade, especially since Leon's still stuck in it.""What are you thinking about wearing?" I ask, I don't want to look like an idiot when I turn up to some party wearing clothes that are nothing like everyone else.
