Just Me And You

PT 19

It's been about 30 minutes and Bill was on his laptop once again while we were playing a game. "Hey guy! Look!" We all walked over to Bill as he showed us his computer. It was an article saying how schools out for the rest of the year due to a fire happening at our school burning half of it down.

"YESS!" I yelled.

"Lucky us." Gustav said.

"Can you believe how fast this year went by? It's 2006 and it felt like 2005 yesterday." Bill said.

"So true it's only November too. That means 2007 is right around the corner" Georg added

"Anyways, come play a game and get off the laptop please." I begged. He nodded his head and we all went to the living room and sat on the floor.

"Let's play never have I ever. 10 fingers." Alyssa suggested. We all agreed and put 10 fingers up. "Okay I'll go first. Never have I ever had my first kiss." We all put our finger down except for Gustav.

"You haven't had your first kiss yet?" I asked surprised. He nodded his head no.

"He's shy he gets nervous." Georg said making fun of him. Gustav flipped him off.

"When did you have your first kiss Bill?" I looked at Bill. Bills smile faded away and he looked down.

"Oh um like 1 or 2 years ago." He said upset. I didn't want to push it so I moved on from it.

"Ok I'll go then, never have I ever gotten drunk at-" all the boys already put their finger down before I finished. "Uh I didn't finish"

"Whatever you say, we most likely already did it with drinking." Tom said.

"Never have I ever gotten so drunk that you didn't remember anything." They all looked at me as I also put my finger down. "Damn" we all laughed and continued playing the game for a while but through most of the time, I kept thinking on why Bill was upset.

*Skip time*

"Okay boys, we have to practice for the album so come on" Bill said as he got up from his chair. I stood next to Alyssa as we watched them walk away.

"You're not coming?" Tom turned around asking.

"No me and Alyssa are gonna hang down here if that's ok." He nodded and caught up to the other boys. Me and Alyssa went to the couch and started talking about random things like our music taste and relationships. "I'm really glad you and Georg got together."

"I know, I feel happy and more a part of your guys group. He's really sweet." We gave each other big smiles.

"Okay, I'm going to the restroom." I got up and didn't know where the restroom was downstairs since I'm barely downstairs so I decided to go to the one upstairs. I walked up stairs but instead of music I heard talking, making me eavesdrop a bit but I was still at the bathroom door.

"Guys I have these songs done, all of them. They are all dedicated to y/n and this is the surprise that comes up for her. Now that we've agreed it is best to not say anything about the album, we need to tell her about the interview that is coming up in Florida." It was Tom's voice. I stood frozen. I wished I'd never come upstairs. I walked into the bathroom quickly shutting the door kind of loud. I jumped at how loud it was but covered my mouth. An interview in Florida? That means he isn't going to see me for a while. I calmed down when a knock was at the door.

"Uhm, yeah" I was trying to calm myself down again.

"Y/n? What happened to you ok?" It was Tom.

"Oh uh yeah I just needed to use the restroom but I didn't know where the one downstairs was. Sorry"

"No don't be, just checking on you." I heard his footsteps go away as I heard another door close shut. I let out a deep breath. Fuck. I really wish I didn't hear that.

*Alyssa POV*
As y/n went upstairs to the restroom, I decided to look at her music again. she had always had amazing music taste. But when I went on her ipod, I saw a playlist. It was titled. "My music" I clicked on it and listened to the first song, "Not Allowed." It was amazing, but the interesting part is that it was y/n's voice! She always told me about her dream for music but I didn't know she had it. Even though she is my best friend, an idea came into my mind. I copied a link to send it to my anonymous Facebook that I have and posted it on Facebook. This could be a way for me to become famous. I've always wanted to become famous but my dreams were never pursued. Even though these are hers, I'll act like I don't know they are hers. I am feeling bad but if this is the way to pursue my dreams, then it works.
