It was already Tuesday and yesterday I didn't text nor hear from Ace at all
And I was going to ask Luffy but he didn't come to school at all yesterday either
And I was too scared to text Ace so I just left it at that
I sighed as I walked to school Hopefully today will be better than yesterday
In every class that I had yesterday people kept asking me why I went into the car with the three brothers Either that or why I slapped Kidd
But I just tried to ignore all of them
I stepped into school and Robin stopped me "hey y/n I haven't found the person but I texted them, and they told me they'd think about it"
"Ugh hopefully they'll take it down" I sighed
"I know, I'll let you know if they say anything though" she walked away
"Thank you" I smiled at her
I stepped into my 1st period and saw Luffy head down on his desk
And people surrounding him
What's wrong with him? I've never seen him sad
And I especially haven't seen him without his straw hat
I stepped into their little circle and some girls where trying to cheer him up and handing him hats
"I-i remember when you helped me get that creepy guy Decken to get away from me. S-so here Luffy, you can borrow mine" Shirahoshi said trying to hand him a pink cap that said "siren"
"And you helped me stop my house from burning down, so here's mine" Rebbeca said handing him a beanie
Boa would definitely be jealous right now
"I-I just want my straw hat!!" Luffy whined
"What happened to it?" I asked him
"M-my dad T-took it from me, FOR A MONTH" the poor boy was almost in tears
I had never seen Luffy sad
"Uhm...why?" I asked
"B-because I had 264 absences" he said
"264!!but you've been here like almost everyday?"
"Apparently they count classes as an absence and I'm always skipping classes"
"Oh"
"B-but anyway and my dad told me h-he would take my s-strawhat if I missed one m-more day. And yesterday on m-my way to school I-I got sidetracked and forgot to come" Luffy whined
