It had been a week. No one nothing, no one had come to see me, not the high lord, or this Azriel guy. I got invited to dinner every night but I declined, I wouldn't even eat the dinner brought to me. I didn't leave my room. Most of my days, I would sit on my patio, I had requested a chair to be brought up. It was strange, getting taken care of like this. Even if I didn't leave my room, I still dressed and put on the necklaces given to me, I felt liked I owned it to the girls who took care of me, they would lay out a dress and jewelry every day, so I wore it for them.

Once again I was sitting on my patio, today the girls picked out a dark green gown I did quite like it, they gave me matching emerald earrings to wear along with it, I had never put something so expensive on my body in my life. They then put my hair in a braided bun. I got up from my chair as saw the sun starting to go down, dinner would be brought soon. But as i was just about to walk inside, I heard the music start playing, every night the music from the city below would start at this time. I walked up to the railing, i then claimed on top of it and sat, just as I did the first day I was here.

I thought about just staying here for the rest of my life in this room, it was more freedom then I have ever had. " I wouldn't sit there if I were you" The voice made me jump, my body just about to slip off the patio railing , until strong arms wrap around my waist, the person then pulled me back onto the patio.

My hands just grabbed the arms on my waist and held them tight, I was still processing what had just happened, i then pull the arms off of me. I stare up at the figure before me. He was one of the Illyrian men standing with the blonde girl. The one with the Shadows.

" You could have fallen" he said, I walked into my room and sat on bed, " I would have been fine" I said in a sharp tone.

" And how would you have saved yourself", he said with a grin. " Fly" was all I said flatly.

" With those wings, no way" he walked over to my bed, shadows falling him as he walked.

" Why are you in my room" I questioned. " I have come to take you to training my dear" he said as he sat beside me on the bed.

" With Azriel?" I said confused, that prick had not come talked to me , see me, for over a week and now he wants to train before dinner.

" You must excuse him, he had business to attend too" The man said as he played with the shadows that danced around his figures.

" What business" I scoffed, I stood up from my bed and opened my wardrobe, there was nothing but gowns, no leathers to train in.

" Business" was all the man said.

" Well you can tell that prick that I have nothing to wear and that he is interrupting my dinner" I spat, " You can tell him right now" the man said.

" And how would I do that"

" Because you'll meet him at dinner " My eyes widen.

" I thought I was training first" I said.

" Plans changed dear, now come on we don't want to be late" he stood up from my bed and opened my bed room door, " I don't want to go" I said, " You do know your meeting your boss, it would be rude not to come", he says, i scoff and quickly walk out the door. The cold wooden floor making my whole body shiver.

The man catches up to me and links his arm through mine, I roll my eyes at him. We walk down the marble stairs and into the living room, where the same couch sat, he brought me over to the dinner table where the blonde girl sat, with the other Illyrian soldier. I sit down across from the blonde girl, The man sits across from the other Illyrian. I hear the door slam from across the room. A girl with jet black hair and sliver eyes walks in she then sits by the blonde girl.
