Upon the night sky at Buckingham House, twas the night before King George addressed to the Parliament. Through the days and nights after their son was born, he returned to his office to write his speech. It was finally finished when he had a listener in his life to make himself comfortable. Queen Anastasia prepared their romantic night with Brimsley in secret so she can relax with her husband before the big moment for him on the following evening. Dressed in a beautiful light pink tulle dressing gown in a silk nightgown.
Arriving at the office to see her husband examining the pages in his hands, she shared a look with Reynolds before entering the room with her husband alone. His eyes focused on the pages when she noticed his hands were shaking from the nerves. "Darling?" He turned around to see his beautiful wife in the dressing gown without her baby weight. "It is late."
"Oh, I didn't realize I was here longer." Anastasia walked over to him before comforting him on his shoulders. "I am wondering if you can hear my speech again and--"
"George. I have heard this speech many times before and it is perfect as it was before."
He lowered his eyes down in embarrassment before he dropped the pages on the desk. Gripping his quivering hands as his eyes shifted apart from her. She lowered down and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him on the head. Hearing him exhaling in calm, and seeing his hands finally stopped shaking.
Connecting his eyes with her eyes, she smiled softly before she whispered. "Come with me."
Their hands held on through their fingers while their feet walked on the grass. They were quiet while they were in admiration of each other. Under the stars upon the field alone, Anastasia guided him to the path of a blanket with pillows along with a small table with candles and rose petals with wine. Along with dishes of strawberries, chocolate mousse, creme brulee, and raspberry macarons. George looked at the view in shock while he was holding her hand.
"You did this?"
"I had some help, but oui, I did this..." He looked down at her, who was smiling at the view before she turned her eyes to him. Smiling softly before he grinned softly, taking both of his hands wholly before speaking the parting words. "George... Whatever happens tomorrow, you are still a king in my heart. I admire you terribly, and you shall be the greatest monarch they will ever face." George smiled lovingly while Anastasia smiled along with him before she tiptoed to let her lips kiss his lips. His hand let go of her hands to cup her cheeks to return the kiss softly. They both pulled back and walked over to the blanket.
Throughout the night, they enjoyed, talked, ate the desserts she made, and laughed together. From eaten dishes aside, they lay on the pillows, looking up at the stars. He began to describe the constellations to her from above. "So, the constellations are the group of stars that were made to be departed but from our eyes up in the sky. It can form into a pattern for mythical objects, animals, or objects."
He pointed a finger at the group of stars while her eyes followed the direction, "Like up there, It is Scutum. It is translated into Latin, as the shield. It is the protection through all courses of the stars, in my opinion."
"It is amazing... No wonder how much you love it. There are billions of stars in the galaxy and one day it can become one." George looked at Anastasia in admiration while her eyes reflected the sparkling stars. Her eyes connected when she pointed a finger, "What about that one?"
"Good eye. It is Lyra. It represented a musical instrument of a harp, it enchanted the stars surrounding them through music. If you see closely, you can notice it is brighter than all the stars surrounding it, they are listening as they are sparkling." Anastasia laughed softly in awe before she turned her eyes to George whose eyes were focusing on her. Her hand caressed his cheek softly before connecting their lips together. He pulled away before he asked her, "Can you hear it?"
