As the head of the Strike Force, Miguel insisted on inviting all the Spiders and making it the most extravagant event ever to be held. The turnout was overwhelming. It took months of rapid planning, as Miguel refused to wait for the usual duration of wedding preparations. Mary, Lyla, and Jessica were all for it, they helped you find a dress, pick a color theme for decorations, and organized invitations to be sent out through a mass announcement that appeared on every spider's watch. They made sure to handle everything so that you didn't have to do anything but rest and look pretty for your big day.

The long-awaited day was nothing short of spectacular. Hundreds of spider people filled the grand venue, which was nestled atop a skyscraper in Nueva York. The city stretched out below like a shimmering sea of light. For those who couldn't make it, it was broadcast on the screens of buildings all over Nueva York. Even those mass-handling the anomalies for others on the big day could project it from their watch.

The ceremony itself was held under a massive canopy of crystalline webbing, spun by Peter B. and his team of architects under the directions of Mary. The webbing glittered in the sunlight, and as the sun set, it reflected the warm glow through the shimmer of the sticky, glistening material, creating an entrancing atmosphere. There were thousands of roses and lilacs adorning the room, a reference to Miguel's firey red and your wistful purple decorating the room.

Your dress was a vision—elegant and timeless, with delicate lace that trailed behind you like a whisper. You walked down the aisle to soft, melodic strings played by a group of spider musicians, your heart racing as your eyes locked on Miguel's.

Miguel stood at the end of the aisle, looking impossibly handsome in a tailored black suit with crimson accents, his mask discarded for the occasion. The way he stared at you as if the entire multiverse had shifted to revolve around this moment, left you flustered.

When you reached him, he took your hands in his as though you were antique glass. He was speechless, as all he could do was admire the beauty standing before him. The officiant—a wise, elder Spider—opened the ceremony with the usual introduction.

Miguel's vows were everything you expected and more: heartfelt, poetic, and laced with humor.

"Before I met you, my life was empty and meaningless. Being alone became my norm until you came along, and everything changed. You saw the parts of me I tried to hide—what makes me different from the other spiders, the weight I carry running this place—and you didn't turn away. You stayed. You made me believe in something I'd long forgotten: myself.

Today, I stand here as someone who wants to be better for you, a wonderful woman who deserves nothing less. I promise to protect you, not because I think you need it—we already know you'd beat me in a fight any day—" you break out into a wholehearted laugh as you carefully dab away at your tears, "—but because I can't imagine a world without you in it. I promise to fight for us in every moment we have, no matter what the multiverse throws our way.

I love you, (Y/N). Not just for who you are, but for how you've made me believe in myself again. And I promise to keep loving you—today, tomorrow, and every day after that. Like these webs, I vow to forever stick with you through any hardships we may face in the future. You are my future, my home, my everything."

You feel the silent tears streaming down your face, and Miguel uses his thumb to wipe it away. "You're the only anomaly I want to keep in my life forever," he said, earning chuckles from the crowd.

Your vows did not fail to move the hearts of all those listening. You take a deep breath and ready yourself as you recite your vows from your heart.

"Miguel, from the moment you saved me from my dimension, I knew my life would never be the same. You have carried all my heavy burdens for me, lifting the weight of my past to allow me to live normally and grow as a person. You are grouchy, always so serious, and, let's face it, quite stubborn," you teased, earning a small laugh from him and the audience quietly agreeing. "But you are also kind, loyal, and so much more I have had the privilege to see.
