Raven

It was a sunny day and I removed my coat revealing my navy blue Girbaud dress. My Royale Edwardian Hat seem to put me in the spotlight, that made lots of people, notably the old ladies, stare at it. Okay, fine. This is the hat that Kate Winslet wore in Titanic.

I walked to the plane as my aunt Lyra ordered some of the guards to carry all my things. She gave me a big, warm smile as she held on to my shoulders.

"You've really grown into a stunning lady, Raven. Just like your mom."

I smiled and bade her goodbye, as I began to board the plane. When I reached the business class section, I was welcomed with glares and complaints that I was wasting their time. I went to my seat and sulked lower to save myself from their murderous glares.

I grabbed my Louis Vuitton coach bag and looked for my phone ------but it wasn't there.

 "Oh shi------"

"Raven!" I heard someone shout. I turned and saw Jason being pushed away by some guards. I beamed and walked towards him, that resulted to the people's even louder complaints.

"Oh young lady. You don't know how busy I am."

"So do I. I have an important meeting tonight and I won't let a mere child like you ruin my chances."

"What meeting, honey? You never told me anything about that."

 "Uh..nothing."

"If you won't order this plane to move I swear I'll----"

"Oh please. Just a sec. okay? I also need to discuss some important matters to this guy," I said sternly, trying to match their tones. I looked at them the way my father does on his board meetings when I was a kid, and whatever they saw on my face, they just pursed their lips and looked away, muttering something about being disrespectful.

I faced Jason and gave him a big smile.

"Hey," I said as I hugged him, "Why are you here?"

"Just wanted to check if you're okay." He said worriedly. He held my face in both of his hands and looked at me directly with his arctic, melting eyes. I blushed and tried to look away, but his impossible stare kept my eyes rooted directly at his.

He leaned closer and our faces were only inches away. He closed his eyes and when I was about to close mine, someone grabbed me from behind and pushed me out of the way. I opened my eyes with shock as I saw a boy with brown hair standing between me and Jason. He was pretty tall and I can't see Jason from behind him.

We stood there completely confused and shocked. Jason recovered first and he glared at the brown-haired guy and pushed him on his shoulder.

"What's your problem?"

A lot of people turned our way and gave us curioused looks. More complaints began to drown the section and it took me time before I was able to silence them.

"Who are you?" I said as I scowled behind the brown-haired guy.

His hands were on his pocket and when he turned, I almost slipped off my feet.

"J...JAKE?!" I blurted out in shock.

He gave me a bored looked as he scanned through his ipod. He frowned and muttered something like "being a flirt since childhood." as he walked towards his seat, which was beside mine.

I looked apologetically at Jason, who looked confused as I was. He smiled in return and handed me a red mobile.

"You left your Blackberry back at Ashword's. Thought you might need it" He said casually. He bade me goodbye and began to walk out out of the plane.
