Being a demon slayer can be a bit tough..

No-
Scratch that-

THE MOST DIFFICULT HORRIFIC THING EVER!

Well, let me mot exaggerate.
Once I got the hang of it, it was...steady.

But to be honest, if you were to tell me I was slashing blood thirsty demons heads off left to right I would've probably laughed, then cried.

And that's exactly what I did!

Y/N L/N
Age:13

This all takes place in a small village, close to the entertainment district, and being a beautiful girl, I supported my family decently along with my mother, as of the fact my father was indeed sick and only helped with the home.

"Y/N time to get ready, we have to go soon darling." My mother says as she sits up beside my Matt, already dressed to go to the 'home'

The home is one of the biggest estates in the entertainment district. At the home is where all the girls my age and older go to find a husband or help with house work. But in my case I am going to be trained to become a good wife.

I smile gently at my mother, sitting up and looking her in the eye.

"Mother, do I have to go today? Why not tomorrow?" I say as I get out of bed, sighing slightly. "You must've forgot! Today is the day we celebrate our establishment my dear." She hoisted me up and out of bed.

"Mama!" I whine as she pulls me behind my dressing screen. Dressing me quickly.

I guess I can wonder why my mothers excited today, it's a celebration on the street today, to celebrate the..I believe 10 years of our company home, it's funny really..deep down I really despise the place.

As me and her walk towards the vanity in my room, i sigh. "I don't think I'm a fit wife...what if I don't want to become a wife? Or what if I don't find a fit husband mother?" I say as she fixes all my small issues going on with my kimono.

"With such a beautiful face like yours you'd no doubt find a fitting husband. All the cooking and cleaning you will do so effortlessly, think about the children you'd have!" She says as she does my hair.

"Ew children? You can't even have children."
I say in disgust. What the heck makes her think I'm having kids let alone the fact I won't even let her give me siblings?!

"Oh Y/N, you'll understand once your older."
My mom says as she finishes my hair

The thing about my mother, she always has a cheerful mood, I don't understand it, life is a good average, she has to work for our fathers friend who basically uses us both as walking moving parade props and then we barely see the big man, my father, himself. I wonder where the happiness comes in.

"Mom, would you want to leave the home? Ever?" I say as I turn to her as she applies both of our lipsticks.

"Even if I could, I would never."
She says as she gives me a sad small smile.

"Cannot leave all these wonderful women behind. They are like family to me, the same way me and you are still together, right my love? Besides without our duty to the estate, we wouldn't be where we are today."
