Chapt. 10- Kanao Knockout

"Don't make me draw my sword to you, I can kill you, you know that right?" She says as she runs up to me again, making me attack back as well. "We both know who would come out on top if me and you got in a fight." I say as I release an attack myself, knocking her back. "So be it then." She runs up to me, but then slides to the left, aiming for Nezuko. I grab her haori and throw her back to the ground, stepping on her back and taking her sword from her. "Just like training." She struggles under me and kicks me down, taking her sword and tries to slice my arm. I allow her to slice it up since it was an attack if i were to dodge it would hit Nezuko. I then kick her to a tree, pinning her to it with my foot, as well as pressing my blade to her stomach.

"Not bad Y/N...From one Tsuguko to another." She takes a blade from her sleeve and almost stabs my ear until we hear crowd squawking above us. "Bring Tanjiro and Nezuko back to Headquarters! SQUAWK!" We freeze in place. I move my sword from pressing to her stomach and she moved the blade back to wherever she got it from. I begin to walk towards Tanjiro. Checking on him and his wounds. "By the way Y/N." I turn to Kanao only to be met with a foot to the face. "Lord Tengen is going to hate the news about this." I try to talk back but my vision has gone black.

"Wake up! Tanjiro Kamado!"

"WAKE UP IN THE PRESENCE OF THE HASHIRA!"
My eyes snap open as i try to stand, but get pushed to the ground. "Watch it girl!" Rengokus loud voice booms as I look up and notice the hashira standing over me and an awake Tanjiro. "You watch it!" I hold my head up to be met with Lord Uzui's beaming eyes. "How disappointed i am of you Y/N." I drop my head, turning to look to the side.

"What should we do with the boy? I can chop his head off, along with the demon and Tomioka's heads off." Rengoku says as he peers down at Tanjiro. "Poor Y/N i hope her punishment doesn't have to be death!" I hear Mitsuri say as her eyes seemed to be tearful. "So what? That brat always been a bit troublesome." I snap my head to obanai sitting up in a tree. "I can chop this damned brat's head off with ease! He may have convinced Y/N to do such crimes." Uzui says as he grabs a hold of his weapon. "But! What about his trial!" Rengoku says as he turns his head to Uzui. "Damned that trial! Because of him i have to see a Y/N get beheaded!" Uzui takes a step up. But as soon as he does, Mitsuri steps up. "Wait! Let us wait for master to return before we do such acts!" Tanjiro lifts his head only for the man who was holding him down to grab his hair.

"While we wait, why don't you inform us on why you are carrying the demon with you, huh?" Shinobu says as she signals for the boy to let go of Tanjiro and push him towards the hashira. "Nezuko! She's my...she's-" Tanjiro breaks into a fit or coughs, causing me to glance his way. "Here, drink some water. Take your time and don't be so hard on yourself." She gives him water and he drinks it all, then beginning to speak. "Along with my family, they were all killed by a demon, Nezuko survived, only but turning into a demon! But I promise you, she has never eaten anyone over the past two years of her being a demon!" Obanai turns his head from the tree he was sitting in. "Oh there family! Thats why he's lying for her, he doesn't want her killed. Now look, you got a hashira and another person taking the blame for what you've done." Obanai speaks as he glances at me and Giyuu. Tanjiro lets a huff out and continued to look around, probably in search for nezuko.

"What you looking around for kid?" Tanjiro ignores the man and continues to look. "Nezuko! What have you done with my sister!" I struggle against my restraints only for my face to be pushed to the ground. "Be careful damnit!" Uzui yells causing the girl to tremble at his tone of voice. "What type of bird is that again..?" Muichiro says as he tilts his head to the sky while watching a crow confused.

I head-butt the girl holding me down and crawl towards tanjiro. "You okay?" I say as he tries to pick his head up and looks at me. "Stay the hell down will you? Uzui you should've raised her with some manners!" I hear none other than sanemi say as he walks up with what seemed to be tanjiro's box with him. "Im fine Y/N... but listen to me! Nezuko can help alongside the demon slayer corps!"
