2 months later:-

Its been 2 months since the incident of bathing where he got into a panic attack that day vegas had carried him to the bedroom and given him his medicines and after a few hours his consciousness had come back ,after that day vegas again tried to give a bath to pete in the bathtub ,the first few attempts were futile but then one day pete finally agreed to sit in the bathtub without running away ,the only thing was that he sat in the bathtub in Vegas's lap and then vegas cleaned his body ,since then he takes his bathes like that in Vegas's lap.

Pete's condition had shown some improvement ,he will get up from his bed every night after midnight and sleep on Vegas's chest on the floor ,the arrogance that was once gone can be seen again in Pete's nature while Vegas's smile was also finding its way to his face ,everything has been going good though sometimes pete still gets nightmares but vegas is always successful in calming him down with a hug and compliments.

Right now its evening pete is taking a nap in the room while vegas has some important work so he is working in the living room on his laptop.

Pete gets up from his nap and looks around to find vegas but he Is not in the room pete pouts and gets up.

He went straight to the kitchen to look for vegas but he wasn't there ,pete frowned at the inconvenience and looked around the kitchen once again before going to the living room.

*Ahh, there he was sitting on one of the chairs with his laptop on the table looking at something keenly.pete peeked at him and went back to their room and sat on the bed quietly ,sometimes playing with the chains tied to the bed ,sometimes rolling on the bed after an eternity for pete ( and two minutes 20 sec for a normal person) he could not take it anymore and went to the kitchen once again but again he didn't find vegas there he gritted his teeth and went to the living room once again and to his dismay vegas was still working*.

Pete stomped his feet on the ground and went towards vegas but vegas was too busy and didn't notice pete coming to him ,not getting Vegas's attention pete got even more irritated and .

"Auugghh ,love ,what are you doing ,aww aww ,it really hurts ,love please let go" ,vegas grunted in pain as pete had bitten his arm but even after begging pete didn't let go of Vegas's arm.

"Love ,what happened? did you get a nightmare ?are you lonely ? are you afraid ?" Vegas asked and pete bit him a little harder then before.

"Aww ,aww ,sorry love its not that ,then what Is it ,tell me ,at least show me some actions to let me know" .vegas said.

On hearing this pete let go of Vegas's arm but then bit him hard again immediately.

"Aww ,aww ,okay you are hungry right ,okay okay I got it let my arm go baby ,don't eat me ,it hurts okay I will make you something right now" .Vegas said and pete let go of his arm.

Vegas carrased his arm and held Pete's hand leading him to the kitchen.

Vegas started preparing a snack for him but pete got in his way while he was trying to peak at what vegas was making for him ,afraid that pete would get hurt like this ,vegas lifted him up and made him sit on the counter slab beside him so that he can see what was going on . he took an apple and gave it to pete with a recipe book .

"Love please show me what you want to eat so that I can make it for you ,don't worry I can cook anything shown in this book" ,vegas said excitedly and looked at pete but pete stared at him blankly not giving him any expression nor did he take the book from Vegas's hand.

But vegas didn't get disheartened by thus and smiled at pete ,

"let me show you what's inside this book" , vegas said and started flipping through the book carefully observing if pete is interested in anything.
