Since the day they went to the amusement park. Candice and harry have become a little bit distant and that was kinda sorta affecting Harry.
Harry would always go out for walks alone and sleep alone sometimes on the couch. Candice knew that something was bothering him. But she didn't know what.
One day when harry came home from the walk. Candice sat there watching each step. He sighed and looked at her, he smiled at her which caused her to smile at him as well.
"Baby we need to talk....... please" Candice whispered the last word. Harry nodded and walked up to her. "What's up babe, you seem tensed" he asked her as he took her hands and kissed it.
Candice looked at him and smiled softly. He too smiled back at her. She cupped his face. "Baby we umm need to talk" she mumbled. Harry got a feeling that she wants to breakup which was definitely not candice's intention.
Harry immediately got tears in his eyes. "You-you want to break up with me" he chocked out a sob. "What not baby, of course not I'd never break up with you baby, why do you think that" she asked him as he hugged her and she cuddled him to her chest.
"I-i thought of it" he told her. She just shook her head. "Never baby, i won't leave you ever" she told him. He nodded and looked up at her. "so what you wanted to talk about" harry asked her.
She bit her lip and looked at him. "I uh, we've become so distant harry, since we had a talk at the amusement park you know that" she told him. He looked at her confused.
"I thought you wanted some time alone so i never knew you were feeling like this baby" he told her. "Oh" was she said. Now she confused the conversation. "I'm sorry i assumed worse" she spoke. "not worse than me" he told her which made her chuckle.
"But yeah still to baby, i don't like when you talk bad about yourself you need to control that" she told him. He kept quiet and listened to her. "i know it was my mistake to avoid you but, I'm sorry which i did" she spoke again.
Harry looked at her and smiled. "Don't worry, I'm sorry i can't do anything, i never knew I'd get this sickness, and then i might leave you one day, i know you don't like it when i talk like this but it's the truth candy, I'm so sad. I feel so sad for myself" he whimpered.
He again hugged her tightly. "I'm scared to leave everything and go away" he whispered. She was balling her eyes out silently. She gently rubbed his back. "Shh baby calm down" she whispered. That's all she could say.
"Ha-harry, i know what your going through i promise you that everything will be fine, if you die, i too will d-" but he cut her off by pressing his lips on hers. She kissed him and he pulled away.
"Don't say that, i can see your future, you have bright future, i may, or may not be there for your success but, I'll always watch on you as you become an independent woman, i know you" he told her. She looked at him through her tears.
He nodded. She kept looking at him. She smiled at him. "I know you will get married, your surname will mine, i will never let go of you, your my first love, i know it's not in my luck to be there with you or spend the rest of my life with you but, here" he said and paused and took out a shining sliver ring from the pocked and slid it in her left middle finger.
She looked at him and smiled. "this is a promise ring, that i will always protect you, I'll indicate you okay, don't worry, I'll be there in every step of you, I'll be near you, always you will feel my presence, no matter what, and hey don't get frightened i won't be a ghost okay" he said and giggled.
She chuckled. And nodded. Deep down in her heart she felt so much pain as he said those words. "Promise me" he said. "i promise you" she whispered and kissed his cheek. He smiled his dimples popping.
"Anyways since i got my salary today, i wanted to take you out for dinner tonight since tomorrow i have an appointment with the doctor so before you know" he told her. She nodded. "Ok" she whispered.
He smiled and pressed his lips on hers. She kissed him back with full love. They pulled away and rested their foreheads on each other's. "I love you soo much" she whispered. "I'll love you forever and ever" he told her which caused her to smile.
