After class had ended, Yona opted to visit the library again to finish what she didn't last time.
So saying goodbye to Obito and Rin, she made her way towards the library. The librarian smiled and welcomed her back.
After an hour of going through everything, she finished what she wanted to know and headed home.
"I'm back!", Yona skipped into the house, feeling all giddy.
"Welcome back, Yona-chan, how was your day?", Kushina peeked out from the kitchen as Minato stepped into the living room, also giving her a smile.
"Absolutely great! I made new friends and sparred with a few people, including pretty boy!"
"Pretty....boy?", Minato asked as Kushina's eyes lit up with curiousity.
"Yeah, his name is Kakashi but I prefer to call him pretty boy."
At this, Kushina gave a smirk,"Well, well~Is our little Yona having a crush on someone?"
Yona tilted her head,"Huh, I mean, he is pretty after all?"
'So oblivious, dattebanne!', Kushina smacked her forehead as Minato sweatdropped.
"Yona...", the blonde cleared his throat,"What do you think about staying with someone else for a few days?"
At this, Yona became serious,"Is it another mission? And since you asked me to stay with someone else, that means Kushina-san is also going with you and the mission might last for a long time, correct?"
Minato nodded in awe,"Why am I still surprised?"
"Can I ask who I'll be staying with?"
"It's a good friend of mine, his name is Sakumo Hatake and he's the father of Kakashi. I've already asked him and he says he doesn't mind, so...", he waited for her reaction.
Yona hummed and replied,"I don't mind staying with Hatake-san but could I ask what type of mission it is?"
"A scouting mission near the borders of the Hidden Stone village. Lately, there has been rumors that they were planning to steal some important scrolls from our village so we have been given a mission to check whether the rumors are true or not. And by the look of it, it's going to take a few days, a week at the least."
Minato stared at the girl's thinking face and could not help but ask,"Do you have anything you'd like to add? What are your thoughts on the mission?"
Yona faced him with a serious face and held up two fingers,"Well, I have a few but they're just possibilities, one, the Ishi village. There is a chance that they might attack the scouts from the Hidden Leaf."
