Yona and Kakashi arrived at the training ground where their team was supposed to meet their sensei.
"I told you we would be too early...", Yona sighed as she sat down on the grass, observing her bangs as she stroked them.
'Maybe I should cut it.'
After a few minutes, Minato and Rin arrived, exchanging greetings and introductions with them.
"Obito's not here yet?", Rin asked Yona who nodded,"Knowing him, he's probably caught up helping someone again.", she replied as Kakashi clicked his tongue.
"How long is he going to make us wait?"
Just then-
"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late!", Obito came running up to them as Minato greeted him,"You must be Obito Uchiha, yes? You're finally here. You missed the introductions."
"Ehehe, sorry...."
"It's fine, why don't you introduce yourself to the team?", Minato stated,"I'll start. I'm Minato Namikaze, your superior and sensei starting from today. Your turn next.", he continued, giving him the go.
"Right! The name's Obito Uchiha! And I'm gonna be the next Hokage!"
Minato nodded approvingly,"That's good, it's nice to know another person who's aiming to become Hokage. I too, am aiming to become Hokage."
"Eh, I never knew that, Minato-sensei. I'm cheering for you!", Yona smiled, pumping her fists. Obito pouted.
"You too, Obito.", she flashed him a wink and his pout became a grin,"You got that right! Once I become Hokage, everyone's gonna fear my name. And when I get my Hokage statue erected, I'm gonna make sure they display my goggles just right over my sharingan eyes!"
"Then your eyes won't be visible, Obito...", Yona replied, trying really hard not to laugh at her imagination of an large eyeless Obito.
Obito became flustered,"T-Then I'll make them carve it on top of my goggles!"
"But it will look like your eyes are popping out, Obito...", Rin added, trying to just suggest but that was the last straw for Yona who immediately burst out laughing, clutching her stomach.
