Jungkook jolts awake from the pile of cushions, the sudden chill of the air making his chest tighten. The loud banging of thunder sends a shiver down his spine, and he blinks, his eyes adjusting to the soft glow of the lamps around them. The storm outside seems to have intensified, the rumbling of the clouds filling the silence.
But then he realizes-Taehyung isn't beside him. His heart skips, and he pushes himself up, hair tousled and his brows furrowed in concern.
"Taehyung?" Jungkook calls out softly, his voice cutting through the quiet as he steps towards the open space, searching for him.
He notices him then-standing by the balcony, his silhouette outlined against the storm, his hand stretched out to catch the rain. The soft glow from the inside casts a halo around Taehyung, who stands still, his expression peaceful yet lost in the moment, the rain falling gently on his skin.
Jungkook's breath hitches as he watches, captivated by the sight of Taehyung, who feels so far away yet so close at the same time.

Jungkook leans against the wall, holding a lamp in his hands, his gaze drifting toward Taehyung, who stands at the balcony, bathed in the soft light. The rain falls gently around him, and Taehyung's white shirt flutters against his thighs as he stretches his hand out to feel the cool droplets. A glowing smile plays on his lips as he leans forward, completely in tune with the moment.
"Jungkookie?" Taehyung calls, his voice full of warmth and mischief. "Please, let's go into the rain."
Jungkook chuckles softly, though concern flickers in his eyes. He steps forward, reaching out to gently pull Taehyung back. "Tae, sweetie, you'll catch a cold and get sick. Let's go back to bed, it's past six already."
Taehyung pouts playfully, stepping away from him. Jungkook's concern deepens, but before he can respond, Taehyung runs down the stairs from the treehouse.
