" i can't believe we're leaving " taehyung sighs , having a moment of realization as jungkook is in a haste to dress up , their luggages fully packed.
Taehyung panting , feeling disoriented suddenly " hey listen , you'll be okay , we are going to be fine " jungkook tries to calm him , pulling him close.
" No no jungkook , none of this is okay , none of this is fair to us , this is our hone , god we can't just run , what if we stay and fight , this is all my fault , i shouldn't have been so selfish " taehyung breaks down eventually , jungkook holding him tight.
" My love , blaming ourselves now wont do us any good , i say we run while we still can , sometimes running doesn't make us cowards , its to perhaps prepare for battle , our fight will come another day but for now we need to be safe , we need to hurry before sunrise " jungkook persuades taehyung who nods , wiping his tears.
" you're right " he says , jungkook helping him up on his feet.

And so they are on the road , mind set to journey so far , away from home , tears escaping tae's eyes , the wind brushing past his face as jungkook speeds up , linking his hands with taehyung , off they go , to the unknown or so they thought.
" i'll need to stop to get gas " jungkook says , kissing taehyung on the forehead , parking into the nearest gas station.
With jungkook out of the car , taehyung sinks deep into thoughts , realizing he didn't properly say good bye , its funny how even with his fame jungkook's father has much more political power to turn his light into darkness , material things aside they need a breather , to be safe first , goodbyes can come later.
