Mornings without you
Some mornings, I feel normal
Getting my daily tasks done
Without a single thought of you
Starting to feel like someone
While driving the car
When the radio plays our song
You flood back into my memories
As if you had never gone
While driving the car
As I pass by our special place
I smile like I used to
Recalling your embrace
So on those mornings
When feeling normal seems so far
I go for a drive alone
Thinking about us, like a fresh scar
