Ji Soo had always been interested in fairy tales, he loved everything from wizarding stories to mermaids and mermen, the latter being his favorites.
Lying on the huge bed in his room, he plays with a porcelain figurine that was in the shape of a merman to culminate by placing it on his dresser along with the others that he collected.
He examines his room in which the walls were upholstered in a relaxing light blue that simulated the sky as the ceiling was adorned with some hanging cloud-shaped lanterns, which matched the cushions scattered around the room. Finding what he was looking for, he goes under his bed, removing part of the lilac blankets, discovering that chest that contained the treasure given by her mother before she died at sea, which her son seemed to love with delirium.
He removes the pendant that contained a small oyster pendant and hides it under the long-sleeved beige pullover that he was wearing, and over it a loose brown sweater combined with comfortable white pants that he was wearing.
He didn't bother to check his appearance before grabbing his backpack and running downstairs to his house.
His father gave him the packed lunch to say goodbye to him and consequently run towards the high school.
Luckily for Hong Joshua, it was a few blocks from his house, so with good luck and a pair of athletic legs, he would arrive on time.
The bell that indicated the start of the school day made him rush, arriving agitated at his class. Looking like he had come out of a marathon.
When the teacher reluctantly sees him, she lets him pass.
Unlike the unoccupied position next to his where he used to place his backpack, he meets a beautiful boy with blond hair at shoulder level, which curiously was somewhat damp, the ethereal young man turns to see him, being speechless when appreciating the delicate and angelic features of those who, if he didn't analyze badly, smiled coquettishly at him.
His gaze falls on the pendant that he was wearing, very similar to the one his mother gave him before his accident, increasing his interest in the beautiful stranger.
"Yoon Jeong Han ." The man with angelic features introduced himself while daringly with one of his hands he organized the hair of the dumbfounded boy passing one of the strands of the dark hair behind the younger's ears.
Ji Soo's cheeks colored an intense crimson, believing that he was in one of the stories that she read at his leisure.
"Your name ?" the blonde asked.
"Hong Joshua ." He responded as he could, wishing to devote all his attention to what the teacher was explaining and not to the charming man he had next to him.
"You're a rude kitty." he heard the other protested, making him giggle incredulously.
He wouldn't let a pretty boy start turning his life upside down.
As if it were a wish, the two straight hours of algebra passed quickly, fleeing from the one introduced as Jeong Han as soon as the recess bell rang.
The soft melody that sounded in his mind made him secretly arrive at the deserted swimming room in the morning since the practices were usually after school.
He doesn't bother going to the locker room, everyone knew that the Los Angeles-born hated all kinds of sports, so obviously he didn't have a locker despite frequenting the place.
He removes his clothes making sure no one is watching him.
He jumps into the water, immersing himself in the beautiful blue, never ceasing to amaze as if it were a magic trick when his pair of legs transformed into a lilac fin.
