They were both young when they saw each other for the first time, every time Joshua closed his eyes he could observe the memories of their encounters. They all came back to him.

That costume party to which he was invited seemed like a fairy tale; the chandelier made of fine crystals that hung in the living room of the Xù house, the large windows and the pompous costumes and masked faces dancing around it, all that made that simple place magical.

He advanced through the crowd, reaching one end of the room, there he found, through a fish tank, who for that night he pretended to be Romeo.

Their eyes met and the beginning of his love story began.

Like two magnets they were both attracted by magnetism. There were no dragons to fight and for that night they would be more of the knight in shining armor and the maiden in danger.

Taking refuge in his mask, Joshua dared to accept the invitation that was soon made by the young man with shoulder-length black hair and angelic features whose face was hidden behind that golden accessory that simulated sunlight on a white canvas.

Ji Soo took the hand that was extended to him and let himself be led to the improvised dance floor.

A hand was placed on his waist, and she prayed to all the gods for some control.

He was sure it was something of a night, and that's why before they danced in their fairy tale he asked her as if it were his last will to treasure him like a precious dream.

Understanding what Joshua was talking about, the stranger nodded. It was logical, the vice-president of the Student Council had an image to maintain, he was a good boy, one who could not get involved with a simple average student or with someone as disreputable as him, who watched him through his window. room which was in front of the minor's room.

He had dated too many girls and boys, broken too many hearts, and even went to that dance with the goal of forgetting his troublesome ex, hoping to meet someone like Juliet was to Romeo.

They were neither the Montagues nor the Capulets, however, their love story was too fanciful to be real, but something told him that they both belonged to each other, that something made him continue dancing even when the music stopped, he did not care if he had I have to write thousands of scores to have another dance next to Joshua.

The world disappeared around them, it was just the two of them, the guests of the elegant party were in the backyard of the house following the host's crazy orders.

The music continued to play, and pretending that they were in past centuries, they dared to dance a waltz, secretly asking to always be this close.

The one with pale skin made the one with feline eyes turn, who with each pirouette smiled widely, intoxicated by the joy transmitted by the desperate beating of his heart. It wasn't all rosy, it was a beautiful dawn in the middle of the night. Both wishing to go with each other even if it were for one last time.

The song ended and his face landed a few centimeters away from that of the boy with angelic features.

"Can you allow me to kiss you?" The stranger whispered against his lips and Joshua nodded, causing the house of one of his friends to become an enchanted castle with shiny floors and beautiful stained glass windows.

Their lips fused and this time it was their turn to dance, taking note of every detail and savoring every sweet breath, enchanting herself with every second that passed.

The one with long hair clung to his waist while he tangled his fingers in the long hair of the one with angelic features.

As one of the masks fell apart, Joshua's feline eyes widened as he learned the identity of his not-so-blue prince.
