Beneath the mountain, one would only find stone and sorrow. The once ancient mountain defiled and tarnished, carved out piece by piece, until a mockery of a court was housed beneath the surface. Rooms carved out, just as skin would be later.

Just an idea of what I picture - roughly- the twins to look like throughout their lives. This is rough as my photoshop skills are not the best. Did use AI art for the initial picture but then edited it to make it more like what I envisioned. (Included the AI art for comparison, just because).

Original AI Art- wasn't tan or golden enough in the hair for the Dawn court to me. The darker hair is more what I imagined since Thesan is so dark but even in the original books we read that the Dawn court High Lord has a golden glow to his dark hair.Also had to add the brow scar since it is important to the story:

The girls throughout the year, just a bit of fun. Eyes should be slightly more gray but otherwise AI did a good job for the overall concept. Did edit for the more golden look because the original coloring was like the picture above. Forgot to fix the eyes here.:
