Heavy Watch and Three Years

I really hope you're wondering what happened after Miguel O'Hara opened the portal on Earth 222 for Earth 928.
Meg couldn't say no to that "job", for both her will of seeing things most people couldn't even immagine and for the fact that she was really scared that the too tall guy standing next to her was going to end her life by snapping his fingers. She found herself in the inside of a tower that seemed the highest in the city, based on the view from the window. She felt a weird energy in that place, and her brain made her remember about those times when she was a kid, when she would call her mum's phone from her aunt's when both objects were in her hands, just to feel the sound that they produced when she made the tiniest noise.
They were walking in a hallway full of people busy in chatting when Miguel took his mask off. "It's safe to take it off here." he said, his face fixed forward.
She waited a couple of seconds, looking around, and then took it off, when something in her brain clicked. It was all those people. It was their energy. She stopped on the hallway, many people passing between her and Miguel, which stood a couple steps in front of her, and was turning around. "Is it all of them? Not one excluded?"
Miguel nodded, not saying a word. He was staring right at her face that made him feel nostalgic. But she was mesmerized. The truth was that she always knew the multiverse existed, and therefore that some universes had interactions with each other was plausible, but she would've never imagined something like that. When Miguel did his little explaining, back in her dimension, she imagined about five different versions of her, slapping each other in the face, trying to stay awake. But obviously, it wasn't like that.
Her pupils dilated, and her exploring instinct took over, so she shoot a web a swung over Miguel's head, impatient to see the whole building and all the people in it.
She could hear Miguel screaming her name and running to get her, but the adrenaline in her veins was something she had never experienced before. She looked at every single person in that building, an then she arrived in a bigger room than the others, made of large hallways, one built above the other. Her neck hurt from looking up for so long. Her mouth was opened with astonishment, and then it turned into a smile when she realized it was all true. She started laughing, not even worried about all the people around her because she realized that lots of others had been in her same position before her, with her same facial expression and feeling the same way.
"Margareth!" she heard a low voice scream, and she turned around to see Miguel running towards her, but then it all went dark for a couple seconds, and she found herself on the floor, panting, and Miguel was beside her. "Don't worry" he said, with a shaky voice that made her doubt he was saying that to her.
She felt him taking her harm, making her almost fall flat on her face, and putting on her wrist what looked like one of those big watches that are gifted to kids, but real; she felt its weight on her arm. "This won't make you glitch." he said looking worried, like he suddenly wasn't sure if the watch really worked, but it did.
She's been protecting it ever since, dissembling and reassembling it over and over to be sure she could fix it if broken. She even made a couple in her dimension, and she hid it in a drawer of her desk, so that she could go in and out of her Eatth without complication every time she wanted. She loved it, no lies.
Miguel became her mentor and he taught her things that made her really powerful - she wouldn't say as powerful as him, but close. One of the things that helped the most, was that, exactly like insects and so spiders, she didn't feel physical pain. Miguel said he didn't really know how that happened, but it did. She couldn't explain it to herself either, and the hundred of tests she run over herself through the years didn't help one bit.
Although she didn't feel anything physically, she'd felt she could crumble at any minor inconvenience in her life at the time Miguel found her. She was at her lowest point. She got so bad, the News in her dimension began to paint her as a public enemy for the way she started to deal with people, especially murderers.
But she was starting to feel wonderful lately, she was feeling like her life was finally stitching back up and she didn't have to worry about every step she made and her life made her feel realised: she had the superhero thing, the University and the waitress job back in her dimension, and at Miguel's place she was pretty busy, too.
With the growth of the Company and the expanding knowledge of the multiverse, Miguel decided he needed to hire someone he trusted. And there she was.
So, for the last 4 years and nine months, she's been payed to investigate on Spider-people's stories and dimensions.
She wanted to travel the world since she was little, since her mother told her her aunt always blathered about how she wanted to see every inch of the world, and Meg obviously wanted to be like her. But it was a sort of return game because now that she couldn't do it, Meg could for her.
And she thought that going blindly into that portal would've meant the destruction of that dream. But god if she was wrong.
In so few time she went through so many dimensions, so many different variations of the place she knows, and she realized it was way better than travelling.
A thing she came to realize with the help of Sarah, her therapist, was that she had the strength to do all those changes, to start a new chapter, one that could make her a better version of herself.
She finally started to really feel alive, after the complete mess that swooped in her life when she was fifteen, and sixteen, and seventeen.
