"yoooo" key groaned talking into the phone not bothering to see who it was.
" make sure you lock the front door and clean that room up before i get home !" June yelled into the phone saying.
" ight ma i heard you the first time when you left." he said then hung up the phone.
The phone ring again.
" MA ! i'm gon clean the room goddamn." he said into the phone.
" nigga dis ain't yo muhfuckin mama! Boy you betta' getcho ass up and come outside!" peanut yelling into the phone and key groaned before getting out of bed.
Key got out of bed and sat there for ascend getting his life together. He looked up and saw some xans crushed up on his dresser. He decided to ignore it and just go take a shower.
Once he got out it was like the drugs was calling his name at that point. He looked at the dresser trying to deny the urge of the drugs but he couldn't. Once he out of his clothes he quickly sniffed the line then rushed out the house.
It's been like this for weeks now. He would wake up pop a pill or sniff it , go hang with peanut and smoke some weed then after that repeat the cycle each day.
" damn nigga yo ass took forever !" Peanut mugged him and he laughed shaking his head.
" wassup kandis" keyonate said and she waved a lil still not a fan of his right now after what yanna told her.
" my bad i was in the show-" his sentence was stopped once peanuts hand found his face.
" bruh what the fuck wrong witchu ?" he asked confused and pisssd off at the same time.
" key you been sniffin' !?" peanut asked pissed off mad.
" Nigga nah I-" he was stopped again by another hit.
" Bitch you gon quit hitting me." key said mugging parkour tired of getting hit.
" and bitch you gon quit lying ! it's all under yo nose! you know what that shit do to you cuz ?" peanut said raising his voice.
" It help me , ight bru" he rolled his eyes saying and peanut shook his head scoffing at his cousin.
" let's go bruh !" peanut demanded said getting out the car and walking in the house. Key walked behind in not in the mood for anything he just wanted to chill.
He found Peanut standing at his room door waiting on him. " gimmie da rest of yo stash !" Peanut said and key smacked his teeth and grabbed sum of the substance handing them to peanut.
" this the last of it ?" He asked and key nodded not willing to give up the last little bit.
" better be" peanut mumbled walking to the bathroom and keyonate trailed behind him watching him walk into the bathroom and flush the rest of the drugs down the toilet.
" here." peanut said pulling out cash from him pocket and handing it to key to take.
" the the money you would owe boss man for dem pills." Peanut said and Key nodded going into his room.
" now watchu finna do ?" peanut asked seeing key going into his room instead of walking out the house with him.
" finna clean up dis room." he sighed before he started collecting the trash and dirty clothes that were scattered around the room.
" ight" peanut said and walked off. Key looked around the room and decided where he was going to place certain thing for the time being.
" i'll do the trash and you do the clothes." he heard turning seeing peanut standing with a trash bag in his hands.
Key dapped him up before they both got started cleaning the room together and then the whole house while they were at it.

" nigga it's throwing down out der." Peanut spoke watching the heavy rain fall outside.
" good it need to clean the car and water them plants." keyontae spoke watching the tv.
" aye who dat is ?" peanut asked hearing the doorbell go off followed by knocks.
" ion kno." he said and both of them stood up, key going to the door first with peanut behind him clutching his gun.
" who is it ?" peanut asked and key hit his chest laughing.
" it's me" they heard a female voice but the rain was too loud for them to recognize it.
" who- oh wasssup." he said and saw yanna standing at the door with a sleeping akari on her shoulder.
Keyontae smiled and shook his head at his child, she loves to sleep.
" hey" " hey p" ayanna said greeting both boys.
Keyontae stepped aside and let her come into the house and get out of the rain. He saw a unfamiliar car sitting outside waiting on yanna.

Peanut walked out the room leaving it just him and her in the room. Keyontae grabbed akari from yanna. Once he stepped back with akari he noticed what yanna was wearing.
" you look good ayanna" he spoke properly. She looked like she was about to go out or something. Probably with her new lil dude.
" ayanna?" she thought to herself. Keyontae had never called her by her real name unless he was upset with her.
" thank you " he spoke timidly and nervously.
" key"
" wassup" he said sitting down on the couch and trying to get the hot rain coat off the child.
" i miss you " she said rushing out her mouth. Key felt a sense of excitement but then it all of a sudden went away.
" that's cool." he spoke before kissing his child on her face to wake her up out her sleep, so she wouldn't be up later.
" sttttooppp" akari whined getting aggravated.
" sttttaaawwwwpppp" key copied her making her shoot her eyes open and smile.
" hey daddy" she said kissing his face.
" hey my baby" he said hugging her. He cherished his children very dearly. He feels like they give him a sense of life and a reason to live.
He wish he could have them around him 24/7 but unfortunately not at the moment.
" Uncle P in my room, go run his pockets!" he whispered in her ear and she hurried to go bother her uncle.
" you ready ?" key asked standing up.
" for ?"
" for me to walk you out ?" he said narrowing his eyes as he felt like what he was asking was obvious.
" so you just gon ignore what I said ?" She said still standing there and he shrugged.
" i mean it was your idea to break up and you seem to be doing just fine without me ayanna. So imma back off." Even thought it pained the both of them it had to be said.
" oh ok , well i guess i'll come get her at the end of the week." she nodded her head feeling embarrassed , handing him akari's things.
She quickly threw her hoodie on and turned her head to hide the tears before running back to Dayna's car.
" you ok bookie?" dayna asked and ayanna nodded.
She realized Keyontae was right about one thing. She was the one who ended things and she was just going to have to get used to not being with him anymore.
