The alarm John set rings. John gets up with ease while the others have much more trouble.
John: Morning.
Aidan: Dude how do you do this?
John: I have a healthy sleep schedule, unlike you guys.
Aidan: Waking up at 5AM is healthy how?
John: I go for runs before school.
Aidan: Yeah okay fitness freak, let's go get ready to go to Beacon.
The rest get up and finish getting ready, and then set out.
After a while of searching...
John: Okay so the airship should be down this block.
Marcus: Finally, I'm getting tired of walking.
They walk up to the airship and enter.
Miguel: This thing is bigger than it was shown in the show!
John: Well obviously, it's made to hold like hundreds of students.
Marcus: Enough of this small talk, we need to focus on the real issue at hand.
The group looks at Marcus with confusion.
Marcus: Who are we gonna be dating?!
Miguel: I never thought of that...
Aidan: Hm...
Marcus: Personally I'm going for Yang.
Aidan: You sure you can handle all that?
Marcus: Damn sure.
Miguel: Well I'm going for Pyrrha!
Marcus: Calm down buddy. Why don't you go for somebody your own age. *points at Ruby*

Aidan: I'm just gonna go with the flow, if someone interests me I'll go for them.
Marcus: Yeah bros just trying to hide the fact that he wants Weiss.

John: Not focused on that.

They turn their attention to the screen near them, which went from a news report to Glynda Goodwitch speaking.
Glynda: Hello and welcome to Beacon. My name is Glynda Goodwitch. You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy. Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future huntsmen and huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now, it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world.
The screen fades away.
Marcus: I wasn't focused on that speech at all.
They look to the right of them and see a blonde guy throwing up.
Miguel: That's Jaune, right?
John: Yeah...
Marcus: He's even more of a loser in person.
Miguel: Now that's not nice is it?
Marcus: Whatever.
They see two girls noticeably disgusted, one of them cleaning puke off their shoe.
