Chapter 3 - Initiation

???: You didn't even win! Quit bragging about it to everybody!

???: Well according to the 5 people who watched, I did.

???: Oh look! Marcus is awake!

Marcus rubs his eyes and sees Weiss and Miguel arguing again with Aidan and John watching.

Aidan: Marcus! Come on, initiation starts soon!

Aidan and John drag Marcus away.

Miguel: See you later, ice queen.

He winks at Weiss and walks away.

A half hour later...

John: So these are our lockers?

Aidan: Seems like it.

Marcus, still groggy, looks around and sees a redhead rambling and walking with a green clothed man, clearly annoyed.

He looks to his left and notices Yang and Ruby arguing, while Jaune wanders around looking for his locker.

Miguel: Dude, Marcus snap out of it! If you're like this during initiation you're gonna get kicked out!

Marcus: Sorry, I just didn't get much sleep.

Miguel: Oh yeah, forgot to ask, who recorded the fight?

Aidan: I did!

Miguel: Nice, send that to me.

Miguel, with the fight video now on his phone, turns around to see Weiss making small talk with Pyrrha.

Miguel: Aidan, follow me. I am going to have some fun.

Miguel and Aidan walk toward Weiss and Pyrrha.

Miguel: Hey ladies.

Weiss: Not you! Anyone but you!

Miguel: Well sadly it is me. You must be Pyrrha!

Pyrrha: Hello! We were just discussing teams!

Miguel: Well I haven't put much thought into that, I already know who's team I'm on!

He puts his arm around Aidan and also points and John and Marcus.

Weiss: You dolt! You do realize you four aren't guaranteed to be together, right?!

Miguel and Aidan's jaws both drop.

Miguel: I forgot about that part...

Weiss: I personally hope you all are separated! I don't want to see you losers together again.

Aidan: Losers? You're talking like you didn't just get embarrassed by the same loser last night!

Weiss: Don't you dare bring that up! That was a fluke!

Aidan shows her the video.

Miguel: Oh, I can tell my time at this academy is gonna be great.

Jaune (to Weiss): You know what else is great? Me, Jaune Arc. Nice to meet you.

Pyrrha: Nice to meet you, Jaune!

Jaune (ignoring her): Yeah yeah. So Weiss! Couldn't help but overhear your fondness of me the other day.

Weiss: You've got to be kidding me.

Jaune: Don't worry, no need to be embarrassed! So, been hearing rumors about teams! I was thinking you and me would make a good one. What do you say?
