I headed out to Breakfast, my head buried in a book. The book was knocked out my hand, and I looked up with a frown. Marauders.
"Black." I sneered.
"Grey." He hissed.
"What do you want?"
"You to be miserable. What else?"
I rolled my eyes.
"You think your so clever."
"That's because I am."
"Yeah, okay." I muttered.
"What was that, Grey?"
"Nothing, nothing. I'm fine. I said nothing." I said quickly, shaking my head and eating the food I had piled upon my plate whilst talking to Black.
I grabbed it and stood up, heading over to the other end of the table.
Black followed.
"What do you want?" I asked, annoyed.
"The same exact thing I said earlier." He smirked.
"Go away, Black."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
"Go eat."
"Go eat I shall." He said, walking away.
I smirked and shoveled more food down my throat.
"Attractive." Lily said, disgusted.
I laughed, and chewed the rest of my food.
"So, Lily, What do you have today?"
She rolled her eyes.
"It's Saturday, Marsha."
"Right."
"So, what are you gonna do today?"
"Nothing. Avoid the Marauders. Sleep. Study. Avoid the Marauders."
Prank.
She laughed.
"Alright, don't get into any trouble."
I rolled my eyes.
"You sound like Mcgonagall. Let me have fun for once, Lily."
Potter came up and smirked at Lily, sitting down in front of her.
"Hello, Lilyflower. Marsha." He said, looking me up and down and making a disgusted face.
"Potter." I hissed.
He glared at me and turned to Lily, a fake smile on his face.
"Will you accompany me to the Black Lake-"
"No."
"Why?"
"One, because you bully both of my best friends. Two, because your an annoying toe-rag who can never seem to get his big head out of my business. And three, because I don't like you."
I saw genuine hurt flash in Potter's eyes, but just as quickly as it came, it was gone, and it made me annoyed again.
"Look, just leave us both alone Potter. She doesn't like you. Face the facts."
Potter turned to me, fury etched onto his face.
"Stay out of this, geek. We don't need you telling us what to do."
"And we don't need you bothering us every change you get."
He glared at me once again, before leaving with his friends. I stared after them in annoyance.
"Sorry, Marsha. I don't mean to drag you into this."
I sighed and looked at her.
"It's fine."
"No, It's not."
"Yeah. I'm used to it. They do this to me often. Annoy me for the heck of it, and then walk off to think of new plans to annoy me and Sev."
Lily sighed.
"I'm sorry, Marsha. Really. I don't want Potter to get in your way."
I rolled my eyes.
"Lily, I already said I was used to it. Calm down."
She glared at Potter, who winced as he saw the fury in her eyes. I saw her mouth something to him, but I couldn't make out the words. Whatever it was though, it apparently made Potter scared. And whatever makes him scared, I enjoy. I beamed at Lily and she rolled her eyes, going back to her food and eating it like I was.
"Attractive." I mocked.
She glared at me playfully and lightly rubbed her mouth with a napkin. I chuckled and went to my food, eating like a dog and shoveling food down my throat. I continued to do this until I felt like I was going to throw up. I got up and told Lily I was going to the Library. She just nodded and went back to her food.
Something was bothering her.
I decided not to bother her and headed to the Library to study. Then three boys I thought I would never see in here came in.
"Potter. Black. Pettigrew."
"Grey." They said in unison.
"What are you doing here?"
"None of your business." Black replied.
I sighed and went back to my book on how to perform a Patronus charm.
"You know we don't start that for another few months, right?"
"Better to be ahead than behind."
"Better to be right where I need to be." Potter muttered.
"Anyway, have you seen a book on Animagus anywhere?" Black asked.
"No. Why?"
They turned red.
"No reason."
I gave them a suspicious look.
"Alright, alright. I did see one over near the restricted section." I shrugged.
They ran off, not giving me a single glance. I rolled my eyes, thinking the same thing over and over.
Thank goodness they didn't see past my lie. Hopefully they aren't smart enough to figure out what I am. Who I am. Or possibly both of them.
Maybe they're just studying.
I chuckled to myself.
Who am I kidding? Potter and Black? Studying? Peter I get, I see him in here a little. But Potter and Black? Never would I have thought. I stared at them as they looked through books, throwing the ones that they didn't need over their shoulders and onto the floor. I rolled my eyes again. I seem to be doing that a lot. Maybe I should stop.. I put the books back and left the library, heading out to the Black Lake. I saw a few Slytherins and I sat down far away from them, so I don't bother them. I took a book out of my bag and began reading, but my thoughts kept getting sidetracked.
Let's hope they aren't smart to figure out any of my secrets.
Because if they do, there could be trouble. Serious trouble.
