Guys! I just realized I made a huge mistake. I included Draco as an eleven year old in MARAUDERS ERA. I'm like, wait, doesn't that mean that Lucius got married at like, five? BUT, for the sake of this story, I'm keeping it that way so it's not going to follow along the plot that much. I'M SORRY IF THIS GETS YOU ANNOYED, BUT IT'S 3:40 IN THE FREAKING MORNING, SO PLEASE DON'T COMPLAIN. Okay well, here's the chapter for you. Typed by me from 2:00 AM - 3:40 AM. I'm such an amazing author, aren't I? *virtual smile* OKAY, I'M DONE STALLING, HERE'S THE CHAPTER FOR REALS NOW.
*~*~*
I smirked. Everything was in place. I turned to Draco who chuckled, causing me to 'shh' him quietly. Tom walked by and I snickered quietly, waving my finger for a second. And then, a potion that I personally created, spilled all over him. I crossed my fingers and hoped that some of it had gotten in his mouth. It was a happy potion, and would make Tom cheerful for at least two hours. A smile suddenly lit up his face and I couldn't contain it anymore. I burst out laughing and stood up from behind a bookshelf, Draco following suit.
"Oh Chrysalis, how I love what you've done with your.. hair!"
Okay, I'll admit, I might've put a little more happiness than potion in there. And too much probably got in his mouth.
"Thank you, Tom. I've got to go now - Draco, watch him?" I practically begged.
No way was I watching a happy, energetic Tom Riddle. Draco groaned but nodded. I beamed at him at skipped off.
"She's too pretty for her own good.."Draco muttered.
I smirked. I think I make it work, don't I?
"It's called playing to your strengths, Malfoy!" I screamed happily over my shoulder as I slid down the railing of the stairs.
I hopped off at the end and sprinted into the kitchen, passing the dining table. As I ran by, I snatched Lucius' sandwich he was about to eat. He sat there, hands still in the same rectangle shape as if he were still holding it, jaw dropped and eyes wide. I winked at him as I took a large bite, continuing running whilst eating. I looked behind me and laughed. Lucius was chasing me, cane-wand thing pointed at me, while he was shaking it and yelling.
"HEY! THAT WAS MINE!"
I roared with laughter, running up the stairs I came down literally two minutes ago.
"IT WAS. NOW IT'S MINE!"
I took another bite. It tasted horrible, but if it made Lucius mad, I was all for it. I accidentally ran into Tom, and was sad to see that Draco had gotten rid of the effects from the happiness potion.
"Why are you running around the house?" Tom asked sternly, but there was amusement shining in his eyes.
"It depends. What did you hear?"
He rolled his eyes with a smile.
"Well, I heard, that my guest was running around the house with a screaming Lucius close behind for an unknown reason."
I sighed.
"Okay, so, I was running and took his sandwich, then took a big bite while he was still in shock. He got angry and chased me around the house." I shrugged, as if it were a daily thing.
Tom rolled his eyes again with a sigh.
"What are we going to do with you, Chrysalis?"
"Hopefully not put me back in the dungeons." I shivered, remembering what went on down there.
He chuckled.
"Now that I've gotten so use to your company, how could I?"
Tom loves me. Tom loves m-
