Here's the other update I told you guys I'd give you! I might update again. I don't know why. I just feel like writing.
ONTO THE CHAPTER!
*~*~*
So it turns out, I was out for about two weeks. There was still plenty of time of Hogwarts left, lucky for me. If you call two months a while.
I decided to dress up a little. When I woke up, I was the first to the bathroom. I still wore my glasses, because it made me feel closer to James. I know, I know, cheesy and all, but it's true. I put on a black, V-neck dress, black vans, a black fedora, a black leather jacket, and a small golden ring. A lot of black, I know. But black's my color, okay? I pushed my glasses up a little farther on my nose, then jerked my hand away, holding my head up. I held the leather jacket like you saw those bad boys do in movies, where they only held like, the collar.
I strut down the corridors, ignoring the envious looks I got from girls and wanting looks from boys. I had an air of confidence around me that said 'Don't mess with me, or else.' I entered the Great Hall, and smirked, nodding slightly. The attention I got was out of this world. Cheers, fainting, wolf whistles, cat calls.
"OI, POTTER, YOU'RE A LUCKY MAN!" I heard someone shout from the depths of the crowd that had formed around me.
James, luckily, saved me. He smirked at me and put his arm around my waist, leading me out of the crowd.
"Thanks." I breathed.
He pecked me on the lips.
"You're welcome."
I picked at the food on my plate with a sigh.
"I don't wanna leave in two months, James."
"Why?"
I looked up at him, slightly teary-eyed.
"I'll have to leave you."He hugged me, and I buried my head in his chest. He stroked my hair softly, sighing.
"It's still a month away, Chrissy. We've got a long way to go."
I laughed, but it was more of one of those laughs when you're crying, where it sounds like it's a bit forced.
"Yeah. James?"
"Yes, love?"
"I want to make this the most memorable month of our lives."
"I do too, princess. And it's gonna happen."
Since Madam Pomfrey insisted that I wasn't well enough to go to classes, I had to stay behind by myself while everyone else went to classes. It wasn't as if I was missing anything. I had already learned everything they were teaching. I was learning the advanced stuff. Stuff not many full grown wizards could do.
I roamed the halls by myself, staring at the walls with a sigh. My mind tried to wander but just seemed trapped. There was absolutely nothing to do by myself. I began thinking of ideas.
Draw? No.
Write? No..
I smacked myself in the forehead. How could I have been so stupid?
PRANK.
I sprinted down the corridor, a smirk on my face. My signature Chrysalis Adams smirk. I yelled the password to the Fat Lady, which caused her to 'hmph' and stick her nose in the air. She let me in, away.
I ran up to my dorm, a grin on my face as I ripped open the lid of a box that was under my bed. I smiled to myself as I went through all of the supplies. Dung bombs, fireworks, stink pellets.. Oh, the things I could do with these. I grabbed my bag from the table next to my bed, shoving all the supplies in the leather bag. I stood up, kicked the box back under my bed, and rushing out.
