Andrea and David had always been close, a young couple who got together at ages 15.
Andrea, a happy, energetic, and charismatic young girl while David was quite the opposite he was quiet and quite odd, to say the least
The pair first met at a park on the swing set at ages twelve and eleven
"Hey, good evening !" David heard a voice right behind him, quickly turning his head. The young boy looked up to see a pair of bright green eyes staring at him inquisitivly.
"Hi..."He replied softly, uncomfortable with the close proximity
The young boy looked at the brunette girl who was smiling ear to ear, staring right at him.
He averted his eyes, looking anywhere but the strange girl, He looked at the trees swaying in the wind, the other children laughing and playing parents talking.
"My name's Andrea, what's your name?" the brunette girl said, trying to start conversation
"It's David," He said hesitantly
The girl, now known as Andrea," sat down on the swing next to him
"Wanna be friends?" she asked excitedly
"Not to be rude or anything but seem like you need some!" Andrea said in a sing-song voice, face twisted into a look of remorse
"Sure, why not?" David replied, surprisingly not repulsed by the idea, giving a small smile the extroverted girl somehow bringing him a sense of comfort
Andrea stood up, reaching her hand out for the boy to take. David put his hand into hers, and they walked away talking smiling happily off to tell their parents of their found new friend.
Throughout the rest of the day, they walked through the park together, talking laughing and playing in the sandbox in the park. Andrea introducing David to her friends and all sorts of fun until it was time for them to leave
That day was the start of a long-lasting friendship, but was it going to stay that way for long?
