My Little Demon Slayer (MLP×KNY Crossover fic)

A/N: Here's my friends drawing of Fluttershy during final selection.

Fluttershy froze, the child in the demons hand wriggled around, trying to break free. "Put the child down," Fluttershy said, voice quivering. The demon just scoffed, "And what if I don't? This human is my lunch, why would I give up food just because you said so?"

Tears streamed down the childs face, he opened and closed his mouth trying to scream. But the sheer terror he felt stopped him from doing so. Fluttershy saw this and she could feel her blood begin to boil. That poor child did not deserve such a fate. She got into a fighting stance, no way would she let such cruelty happen.

"Nature breathing, first form..."

Fluttershy bent her legs and raised her katana to her side. She took a deep breath before jumping forward.

"Horizontal winds!"

In seconds she made it in front of the demon. She used her right hand to slice forward, and with her left hand she reached for the kid. Fluttershy managed to get a hold of the child, but the demon dodged the attack. She jumped back to Zenitsu with the kid in her arms.

Zenitsu yelped when he saw the little boy Fluttershy was holding. "Fluttershy! You'll protect my from that nasty demon right?" Zenitsu clung onto Fluttershy's arm. Fluttershy just patted his head, "Sure Zenitsu. Take care of the kid for me please. Don't let the demon get his hands on him."

Fluttershy handed the child to Zenitsu, and went back into a fighting stance. The demon by now had jumped from the ground onto the roof of a nearby empty house. "Nature breathing, fifth form: blessed butterfly!"

In one quick motion, Fluttershy jumped up in the form of an arc. She moved her katana around quickly so that the only thing visible were the after images that were in the shape of a butterfly. The image distracted the demon which gave Fluttershy the chance to decapitate it.

As the demon was being reduced to ashes, Fluttershy couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Taking a deep breath, she turned around and looked at the direction where Zenitsu and the kid were. Her eyes widened when she saw another demon a few feet in front of them. What surprised her even more was seeing Zenitsu passed out on the floor.

'Oh dear Celestia, I'm still on the roof. Will I make it on time?' Fluttershy was panicking, but she managed to get a hold of herself and ran over to them. However, there was no need to worry because Zenitsu had gotten up, Fluttershy noted his eyes were closed. She was about to wake him up, but he got into a fighting stance.

"Thunder breathing, first form; thunderclap and flash."

In a flash the second demon was decapitated. 'Sleep fighting?' Fluttershy thought to herself. She picked up the child and walked over to Zenitsu. The kid snuggled into Fluttershy's arms as she gently pet his hair. Suddenly a high pitched screech was heard from Zenitsu when he saw the second demon's decapitated body.

He turned around and ran behind Fluttershy. "Wahhh thank you for saving me Fluttershy!" She looked at him confused, "What do you mean? It was yo-". Fluttershy was interrupted by the little boy tugging on her sleeve. "Right, let's get you home little one. Lead the way." Fluttershy put the kid down and held his hand.

Zenitsu saw this and so he looked at Fluttershy with hopeful eyes. "Fluttershy, I want to hold your hand to," he cried. She gave him a gentle smile and held his hand, "Sure why not."

The child led then back to his home, his family was overjoyed to see the little boy okay. The family thanked the demon slayers, before waving goodbye. Soon there crows came to give them a new mission. "So looks like we'll have to go our separate ways from here."

Once those words came out of Fluttershy's mouth, Zenitsu began sobbing. "No please don't leave me Fluttershy! I will die out there! I need you to protect me!" Fluttershy pulled him into a hug and pet his head. In her soothing voice she said,"You'll do just fine. I promise we will cross paths again, okay? You'll live, I know it."

Zenitsu felt warm in her embrace, never had a female been so kind to him. Instead of feeling like Fluttershy could be a potential love interest, he felt the affection of a caring mother for her child. This thought warmed his heart and tears brimmed his eyes. Did his own mother ever show this much care for him?

With a final pat on the head, Fluttershy waved Zenitsu off. He was more determined than ever to stay alive and hopefully see Fluttershy again to tell her about how he slayed demons and make her proud.

Once Zenitsu was out of view, Fluttershy began heading to the way of her next mission. 'I hope I meet up with my friends soon.'

Rainbow Dash's Mission:

The trio had just split up, and now Dash was on her way to a city in the west. 'It better not take me long to get there. I can't wait to fight demons with my awesome breathing style. Those demons won't know what hit them.'

Dash smirked to herself at the thought of all the cool tricks she would do. Her crow which she figured out was named Ryo (and has a sibling named Riri which just happens to be Fluttershy's crow) led the way.

"So what do we know about this demon? Is it male or female? Does it attack a certain age of people? Does it go by any kind of name?" Dash was bored so she decided to go over the information about this demon.

"Caw, it is a male demon which goes by the title Torpedo. He does not target any specific group of people. Caw!" Ryo flapped his wings faster. Dash certainly was hard to keep up with.

Dash sees the city and punches the air in excitement, her first ever mission as an official demon slayer. Ryo had already left, so now Dash was forced to go look for the demon by herself. "Dang this city is so bright. If I were a demon where would I be?" Dash murmured to herself.

She spots a dark alley way. "Well I guess I could start there."
