Those days

All the birds flew away...
Bawling as I watch 'em go.
The empty nests; the still domain,
No i can't take it anymore.

The birds weren't pretty anyway;
But atleast they came on the way...
And with their wings they would hide,
All the dark and bitter side.

Now the birds are long gone,
And I am here all alone.
With no one beside me and no one to meet,
On the path I put my feet.

{So actually I wrote this poem about my childhood days... like every child is carefree, happy but as you start growing up you get to know that there is a lot more to this world than you know. You get to meet all kinds of people; good, bad.... and you get introduced to the sufferings and bitterness of this world. You get to know that this world is not made of just good people, who care for you. There are people who want to harm you, they don't wish you well.

As a small child everyone wants to grow up and be like their parents but when they start maturing, they realize that nothing is as easy as it seemed.

To be a strong and a mature adult, you have to face all sorts of problems and stand tall no matter how hard the storm is.

The birds here, signifies my childhood self and my innocence and my good perspective towards this world. My childhood wasn't that amazing either but atleast I didnt know about how people can be really selfish and can reach to any extent just to fulfill their motives.This poem indicates a person who is starting to mature and is introduced to all kinds of evil and selfish things which is quite the opposite of how the child saw the world as a beautiful and safe place.}

"God only tests his strongest soldiers."
A friend said that to me and I can never forget it.
