Chapter 5 - who is 'him'

Nobody/3rd person pov:

“DUNCE FACE!!” is all Denki had heard when he picked up the phone, causing the poor blonde to pull the phone back away from his ear so his ear drums didn’t get killed, “Where the hell are you!?” the angry blonde on the other side of the phone asked aggressively, until it had sounded like the phone was taken from him and the aggressive voice was replaced with a more calm voice.

“Heyyy-” it was now Kiri, Kaminari figured he had taken the phone from the raging pomeranian, “Sorry about him, but yeah, Where are you? You're kinda late for your shift” Kaminari’s expression shifted from confused to a ‘oh my god’ kind of expression, Kaminari pulled his phone away from his head so he could look at the time, and he was indeed late for his shift.

Shinso gave Denki a look, kind of asking what’s wrong after he saw the blonde's face change “Oh, Right sorry- I guess I kind of lost track of time and forgot about my shift.” Denki started to get up off of he grass in the sunflower field “Give me 15 minutes and I should be there” the blonde said quickly “Alright, Hurry tho- Before Kats comes and finds you himself” the redhead on the other side of the phone said laughing a bit.

“Yeah yeah- See you soon” Denki said and hung up and turned to look at Shinso, who was now also getting up off of the ground, “I can walk you to work if you would like.

That’s only if you want me too though.” the taller, purple haired male said, with his hand creeping up to his neck again, “Uhh- You sure? You don’t have too" Denki scrambled to say, not expecting it, “Yeah, I need to get coffee anyway.” Shinso answered.

“Right- We should get going then, Before Bakugou gets too angry” Kaminari said, trying to make it less awkward by attempting to sling his arm over Shinso’s shoulder but he failed miserably considering the very large height difference between the two “Can he get any more angry?”

A low laugh left Kaminaris lips at the stupidity of the purple boy beside him. “From the many years I’ve known Bakugou, trust me he can get very angry if you push the right buttons, for example my being really late for work so shall we get going!” The bubbly blond boy instinctively grabbed onto Shinsou’s hand and bolted through the sunflower fields dirt path.

The sun beaming its warmth across the earth. The light fog that blanketed the surface made itself known. Shinsou was shocked at the instant energy Kaminari had but quickly halted any thoughts of his hand in Kaminaris.

He ran alongside Kaminari catching a glimpse of the purest joy that glowed from his smile. Tearing his gaze away, Shinsou looked back ahead, seeing that they were not getting any closer to the exit.

Not knowing how to tell the blonde dragging him he figured that there must've been another exit that Kaminari knew of, seeing as there was no look of unfamiliarity on his face when navigating them through the field.

After what felt like forever the two males finally reached what looked like a wooden fence that separated the field from the city. Looking more closely Shinsou could see the back of the cafe that Kaminari worked at.

How has he never noticed this vast sea of sunflowers that was quite literally behind his now all time favourite coffee place?

Looking back at Denki, Shinsou noticed the black lighting bolt in his hair and how it stayed in perfect shape the whole time. How had it not moved or gotten messed up?

Feeling too tired to let his mind ponder any further, Shinsou settled with the fact that it was witch's magic or it was just simply because it had relevance to his quirk.

He had thought that the blonde's quirk was something to do with electricity because when they reached the gate he could feel a few very soft shocks of electricity spark through his arm, and when the blonde had let go of his hand the light buzz of electricity left his body.
