Chapter 6 - Cheesy jokes and small smiles

Nobody/3rd person pov:

Soon Kaminari’s peaceful sleep was rudely interrupted by him falling off the bed with a loud thud. Kaminari’s ass throbbed from the impact. Groaning from the pain in both his head and ass, he laid down, not giving a shit about getting up and seeing where he was. Kaminari heard the door squeak open. “Are you okay?” an uncertain Shinsou asked into the dark room.

Turning his head to the direction Shinsou’s voice came from, Kaminari got the energy to lift his arm up, showing a thumbs up. Squinting, Shinsou saw Kaminaris hand. Sighing softly, Shinsou turned the light on. Kaminari hissed, covering his eyes and rolling on the floor. “Well I didn't know you were a vampire.” Shinsou said sarcastically. 

“And I didn’t know you were a weirdo that took people home- But here we both are” Denki replied with just as much sarcasm, “Excuse me, For your information your friends told me to take you” Shinso said back slightly offended by the blonde calling him a weirdo.

Shinso heard his phone ping, and so he pulled it out of his back pocket, turning it on and looking at the screen, it displayed a notification from Kaminari’s redhead friend asking if Denki was okay, he looked up from the screen and looked at Denki “It’s your friend- He wants to know if your okay” 

“Yeah, I'm absolutely fineeeeee-!" said the blonde as he flipped over onto his back and looked at Shinso, the taller male started typing a reply “Kaminari is fine. He's just rolling around on the floor like the child he is” is all he said, saying what he was typing out loud, earning a dramatic and offended gasp from Denki, who was now sitting up, crisscross, on the floor with his arms crossed over his chest. Shinso put his phone back in his pocket and looked at Denki, “What are you doing? You don't even look scary, You look more cu- like a child than anything, Which is proving my point” he stopped himself from saying that Denki was 'cute', he thought it might have been a bit weird, and thank god that Kaminari was to oblivious to realise. 

It was quiet until the grumble of Denki’s stomach was so loud that both of them looked at his stomach to make sure that it actually was him, then it made the noise again, causing Kaminari to burst out in laughter, making Shinso quietly chuckle while the blonde rolled around laughing.

Denki stopped his laughing fit and looked up at the purple haired insomniac “Oh my god- Did you just laugh?” the bright boy said, knowing that he did hear it, “What- No- I did not, Your hallucinating” Shinso said, trying to convince the smaller male that he didn’t hear it even if he most definitely did, “Yes you di-” Denki was cut off by Shinso walking over to him and picking him up. 

“Aye-! What do you think you are doing-?!” Kaminari kicked his feet trying to get the other to drop him, it obviously wasn’t working, “We are going to get you food, You're clearly hungry.” Shinso replied in a calm manner, “You could have just said that, Instead of picking me up- I can walk myself y’know” Shinso rolled his eyes then replied “Fine then, Walk.” Then he let the blonde go, dropping him on the carpet. Kaminari looked up at Shinsou in disbelief.

“What? You said that you could walk by yourself, So i dropped you- So you can walk- by yourself.” said Shinso, looking down at the blonde boy that was sitting on the floor “Yeah- That didn’t mean drop me tho-! Asshole” Denki replied, once again, crossing his arms over his chest and turning his head, sticking his nose up in the air, a slight pout on his face.

Sighing and rolling his eyes, Shinsou extended his hand out for Kaminari.

Shinso stood there and waited for Denki to stop pouting like a child, with his hand out, he heard the blonde gasp and saw him struggle to get up off of the floor with his socks making his feet slip. The insomniac was confused on what the blonde was all of a sudden so energetic about until he saw Denki quickly go over to the doorway of the kitchen and scooped up his cat, hugging the small, black cat close to him, with a bright beaming smile spread across his face while he now sat on the floor with the animal in his lap.
