[1st POV - Cain Leywin}

Making my way home after that refreshing bath, I settled on the hard ground, deep in thought about the new information I had discovered.

First and foremost, my enhancement magic differed from augmentation in a crucial aspect: I had the ability to enhance my blood cells, something augmenters couldn't do. This distinction was likely due to the presence of my "mana core" within my heart.

Augmenters could enhance their muscles, bones, and other body parts without risking their lives. On the other hand, my magic focused on cell enhancement, a capability exclusive to me (or at least that's what I believed).

As I mentioned earlier, the acceleration of my blood cell aging through enhancement resulted in my rapid growth, reaching a physical age of around 13 to 14 years.

I was already familiar with the effects of enhancing my cells: increased cell production, cell division, and other improvements, all while enhancing my regenerative abilities.

However...

I paused, a thought sparking in my mind.

If my enhanced abilities included superior regenerative capabilities, wouldn't it be similar to healing magic?

No, that couldn't be the case. I conducted numerous tests on healing magic, deliberately injuring myself and then having my mother heal the wounds. The healing magic she employed didn't cause me to age as a side effect of the healing process. While I may have been taller and more muscular than most children my age, it was largely attributed to my training and innate regenerative abilities rather than the healing magic.

My enhancement magic focused primarily on cell enhancement, a concept that was relatively straightforward to understand.

In contrast, my mother's healing magic was... well, somewhat complex.

I had noticed that instead of directly enhancing the blood cells within the body, her healing magic seemed to nourish the blood cells.

Confusing, isn't it?

In simpler terms, healing magic functioned in a similar yet distinct way compared to enhancement magic.

By channeling a unique mana signature exclusive to those with emitter genetics, this mana signature would activate and nourish the blood cells within the body with mana energy. This process stimulated cell division and production, taking regenerative capabilities to new heights.

Healing magic didn't produce the same side effects as my enhancement magic. Its purpose was to empower the blood cells, providing them with sufficient energy to regenerate wounds while preventing cellular aging.

This led me to ponder: What if I could learn to use my magic in a similar manner? Would I be capable of healing others like an emitter? Such a skill would undoubtedly be invaluable.

But first...

I needed to further train my body. It was imperative to understand every weakness of my physical self, as well as familiarize myself with all the abilities at my disposal.

As a wise man once said, "If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle." (A/N: Sun Tzu - Art of War)

It was crucial to gain a deeper understanding of my limits and current abilities. It was far better to have knowledge of myself than to remain ignorant.
