You smiled back at Theodore, "I'll see you tomorrow." He pressed his lips to your cheek softly and made his way down to the boys' dorms, leaving you alone in the common room.

You breathed out and shook your head, wishing you felt different about the situation. Theodore was so amazing to you; he was gentle and kind... so you wondered why you felt the way you did.

"Trouble in paradise?" you snapped up to see Mattheo leaning against the bookshelf. You rolled your eyes and leaned over to grab your books, ignoring the ignorant boy. When you stood back up you could feel him lean his body against your back.

"Mattheo, get off me." You rolled your eyes, about to step away, but you felt his arm snake around your torso and hold you in place, his hot breath running down your neck.

"It doesn't have to be so boring." He smirked against your neck.

As much as you tried to ignore his words and brush them off, he seemed to know what you were feeling. You elbowed him in his stomach and when his arm dropped you pushed away and ran up the stairs towards the girls' dorms, wanting to get away from him.

He was the opposite of Theodore, he was rude and demanding, he seemed to think he could get whatever he wanted but you weren't going to give him the satisfaction. When you reached your empty dorm room, grateful you were an odd number and had a room all to yourself, you sat down on the edge of your bed and turned to the window, trying to smile at the thought of Theo.

He was perfect, he was handsome, kind, and caring, but you couldn't shake the feeling that it wasn't enough.

"Brought you something." Theodore smiled, sitting across from you at the long Slytherin table in the great hall. You giggled when he placed the book you had been trying to find all over Hogwarts.

"Where did you find it!" you beamed, opening the book and feeling the excitement of finally getting to read it.

"Had to pull some strings, but I'd do anything for my girl." He chuckled, leaning over the table and pressing a short kiss to your forehead, "But I'm meeting up with the boys, I'll see you later."

You gave him a small smile and looked down at the book, guilt filling your body as you wished you could feel the way he deserves to be felt about, but something was missing from your relationship, something you didn't think he would ever be able to give, despite not even knowing what it was that was missing, you felt awful.

Snapping you from your thoughts, you felt a cold hand run down your back and you turned to see Mattheo once again. You sighed and went to stand up from the table, but his strong arm held you in place.
