Auroras pov
I dropped jess off and headed home, Ethan greeted me from the couch, he insisted that he was fine but he could still barely walk from the bullet. I only lived like a 20 min walk from Jess' house so i told him to walk to her house and go check on her "challenge accepted" he got up and was so excited to leave "uh uh uh not so fast pretty boy, message me if something happens, immediately." I said and he rolled his eyes at me. I knew he would end up falling and wouldn't call me so i put my shoes on reluctantly and followed behind. I remembered the incounter with Gustav and to be safe i asked my agents to find her number, within 2 minutes i got it, i sent a quick " hey how r u its Aurora" and turned off my phone.
Gustavs pov
I sat outside for ages until i saw Jess take Maisey for a walk she saw me and started running, i followed close behind but she kept going in and out of random streets i lost her and felt defeated.
Tom: please Gustav buy me a hot chocolate
Gustav: no tom make it urself
Tom: idk how and u got rid of the only person who did it rlly good
I shut my phone off and drove to starbucks, out of my eye i saw her and Maisy sitting on the curb, she saw me and scurried to finish and went towards the lookout mountain. It was a no car zone so i got out and followed her. Am i a stalker cos i feel like it? Eh who cares as long as shes safe. She sat on this hill for quite a while and i was gonna say something but this guy came and sat her next to her. Is she really on a date rn!??! I felt so bad so i went back to the car and started to tear up "im such a jerk why am i like this" i said into my steeringwheel. They finally walked past to go home and i followed just to be on the safe side. She got home fine and hugged him which broke my heart.
Jess's pov
I was getting ready for bed when my phone buzzed
???: hey how r u its Aurora
Jess: how did u get my number
Aurora: dw abt it, r u ok? I live 2 min drive down the road, if anything happens ill be there ASAP.
Jess: aw thanks, hows it going w u and ethan ;)
Aurora: shut up and go to sleep asshole
Gee she was a handfull but never the less i put my phone down and closed my eyes id give it about 20 minutes of tossing and turning before i finally gave up and went to the balcony, i felt so restless. Then i remembered Chester, i glanced over and he was on his balcony too "hey chester" - " oh hey Jess how's it going" - " cant sleep" - " why whats wrong" - " dunno just feel restless" -" that sucks do u wanna come over?" He asked "depends, r u secretly in a gang?" - " try murderer... OF YO MAMMAS PUSSA-" - " CHESTER!!! Im leaving goodnight" - "cya m'lady"
God why do men have to give girls pet names all the time, in 1 week alone id been called "m'lady, princess, cutie" it was so gross. I think that was all i needed, a last conversation with my cute neighbour and i was out like a light bulb.

I heard Chester and Jess talking on the balcony, Jess finally went inside so i gave it 20 mins with no movement until i climbed up to her balcony and let myself in " why is it always unlocked did u not learn from the last time i broke in?" I said to myself. She looked so peacefull when she sleeps it made me want to cuddle up next to her and never let go. I quiety walked over and placed myself gently next to her under the sheets and she almost immediately rolled over and cuddled into me it was so adorable. I started stroking her hair and then i fell asleep.
