After the whole ordeal from this morning, Natsu, Nashi, and Happy made their way to Fairy Tail. The journey was filled with lively conversations and playful banter, gradually easing the remaining tension between them. Nashi walked between Natsu and Happy, feeling a sense of belonging she had longed for.
As they approached the guild, Nashi couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the bustling atmosphere. The noise and commotion energized her, and she followed the sound to its source. Her eyes widened in awe at the sight before her.
High above the rooftops of Magnolia, an enchanting fair had set up its colorful attractions. Nashi's gaze fixated on the thrilling roller coasters and the majestic Ferris wheel. Memories of her schoolmates' adventures at amusement parks flooded her mind, and she couldn't help but imagine the joy of experiencing it with her father.
A light bulb moment ignited within Nashi. The fair would be the perfect place for them to spend quality time together, creating unforgettable memories. But first, she needed to persuade Natsu to join her.
Lost in her thoughts, Natsu's question pulled Nashi back to reality. She looked up at her father, a sparkle of excitement in her eyes.
"Well, I have a map in my bag, money but other than that, all that's in here is some of my favorite snacks," Nashi explained, patting her backpack. Natsu's curiosity was piqued.
"What kind of food?" he inquired, genuinely interested in knowing more about his daughter's preferences. Nashi pondered for a moment, recalling the spicy delights she had packed.
"Some jalapenos, bell peppers, and I threw in some Tabasco sauce," she replied with a playful smile. Natsu's smirk grew wider, appreciating her taste for fiery flavors.
As they continued their conversation, Nashi eagerly shared stories of her love for hot foods, especially the delectable spicy dishes her mother used to prepare. Natsu listened attentively, gaining insight into the special bond Nashi shared with her late mother. It tugged at his heartstrings, making him regret his previous behavior even more.
"Wow, you have a pretty high tolerance for hot foods. But trust me, my favorite foods are on a whole different level," Natsu remarked, a glint of challenge in his eyes.
Nashi stopped in her tracks, determination burning in her gaze. She approached Natsu, her voice filled with competitive fire.
"Is that a challenge?" she growled, refusing to back down. Natsu couldn't help but be amused by this feisty side of Nashi.
"Maybe it is. Can you beat me?" he taunted, igniting her fighting spirit.
"What's your challenge?" Nashi demanded, her voice escalating with excitement. She was ready to prove herself.
Natsu stood confidently, pointing his finger at his opponent. "You have to eat all the hot and spicy foods I find. And if you lose..." Natsu paused, mischief glinting in his eyes, "you have to clean out the fish guts in the sink!"
Nashi's eyes widened in disgust at the punishment, but she quickly focused on the possibilities of victory. She had her own plan brewing in her mind. With a sudden realization, Nashi understood the leverage she held.
"But if I win," Nashi proposed, a mischievous smile dancing on her lips, "you have to spend the rest of the day with me at the fair."
Nashi's excitement was momentarily dampened as she recalled Natsu's motion sickness, but before she could come up with an alternative plan, Natsu surprised her.
"Fine. If you win, I'll take you to the fair, Deal" he said
Nashi responded with a fanged smile "Deal!".
