Chapter 1
On August 31st 1975 my 5th year at Hogwarts, I couldn't help but be excited. I had checked my trunk over three times already, just to make sure I had everything. My robes, check. My books, check. My uniform, check. My wand, check. My cauldron, check. Snow white, perched in her cage, check. My prefect badge, check. Quills, check. Ink bottles, check. Telescope, check. Broomstick, check. I sighed as I flopped backwards onto my bed for tomorrow, I would be boarding the Hogwarts Express back to the place I would rather call home since Petunia doesn't except neither Lily, nor me. I heard foot steps passing by the doorway of the room that Lily and I shared. "Packed yet?" I heard my mother's voice. I sat upright to see her smiling face at me. I smiled back and nodded. "You write to me everyday, okay. Tell me all about your Quidditch matches and exams and friends and Hogsmeade visits," My Mother said. I had a much better relationship with my Mother than my father. As I did love my father dearly, my mother was the one I went to when I needed help. "I'll miss you," I said. "I'll miss you too, sweatheart," She whispered. She moved away the fold bangs that sat on my forehead and laid her soft lips on my skin. "Have a rest. You have everything. Lily saw you looking around your entire room. Calm your nerves," My mother advised. I nodded. "Here," She clamped my hands together and left a cold chain. I opened my hands to see a heart shaped locket. I opened it to see a picture of my Mother and I. I smiled and was about to thank Her when I realised she had already gone and Lily had entered. "Ready for tomorrow, little sister?" Lily asked as she sat back on her bed. "It was only three minutes!" I exclaimed. "I know but I'm still older," Lily said with a giggle. I sighed happily as Lily whispered, "Good night." "Good night," I whispered back as I fell into a dreamless sleep while clutching my locket.

"Good bye, Mum! Good bye, dad!" I exclaimed while giving them each a kiss on the cheek. I looked towards Petunia and she muttered, "Bye, freak." I pressed my lips together. "Bye," I muttered to her. I looked to the barrier of platforms nine and ten and smiled. "Hogwarts," I said and Lily finished, "Here we come." We each looked left and right to make sure no muggles were near. We casually stepped through the border and was faced with the beautiful, scarlet, ginormous Hogwarts Express. "Violet, I'm going to sit with Severus so, I suspect you'll sit with Alice and Molly?" Lily said. "Yeah," I said with a shrug. "Tell them I'll be there after an hour with Severus," Lily told me. "Sure, see you later," I said as she walked over to where Snape was. I searched the platform for at least one friendly face when I saw Sirius and Remus with Peter Pettigrew and - uugghhh - Potter. I sighed and walked over to them. "Hello, boys," I said cheerily to Remus and Sirius. "Our girl!" Sirius and Remus said together while hugging me in unison. I giggled as they let go. "Correction, Evans is my girl, boys," Potter said with a wink. My smile wiped right off of my face. "Potter," I said with an obvious forced smile. "Awe, don't be like that," Potter said as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders. I lifted his arm from my shoulders and said, "Potter, I don't know how many times I have to say it! I don't fancy you!" I merely waved behind me to Remus and Sirius as I dragged my trunk and owl's cage onto the train to go and find Molly and Alice.

OUTSIDE POINT OF VIEW

James sighed and leaned his back against the wall. He watched Violet walk away and climb onto the Hogwarts Express. "You've got it bad, Prongs," Sirius said while patting James' back. "Got what bad?" James asked. Remus rolled his eyes as if it were obvious. "You are in love with Violet!" Remus exclaimed. "Am I that transparent?" James asked. "Y-yes," Peter Pettigrew stuttered. "How will I ever make the feeling mutual between Evans and I?" James asked longingly. "For one, call her Violet," Remus suggested. "And two, get to know her," Sirius added and Peter nodded vigorously, agreeing. "How am I supposed to do that? She'll barely talk to me," James said sadly while kicking his shoes on the ground. Sirius rolled his eyes and said, "Listen, Moony and I know everything there is to know about Violet Daisy Evans." "Really?" James asked. Remus and Sirius both nodded. "What's her middle name?" James quizzed them. "Middle name?," Remus asked "Yes her middle name" James said in a duh tone. "Daisy," Sirius answered with a weird look on his face. "Violet Daisy Evans," James said to himself. "Beautiful, isn't? I mean both her names a flowers she told me that her Mother has named Lily after the flower same with her older sister" Remus asked. "Watch your mouth, Moony," James said. Remus chuckled and said, "She is the only girl in her family to have emerald green eyes everyone in her family has brown eyes. Her older sister is Petunia, there is her twin, Lily, and her mother is Rose." Sirius said, "Her favourite colour is Emerald." James nodded for them to go on. "She loves to sing," Remus said. "Really?" James asked, interested. "Mhm," Remus answered. "She likes to write songs," Sirius added. "She plays an instrument?" James asked. "Oh, no. But, she likes to pretend music is playing in her head along with her written songs. She is very creative, that one," Remus said. James nodded encouragingly for more. "Uh...," Sirius said at a loss. "OH! She has a very sick obsession with writing," Remus said. "Writing?" James asked. "Oh, yeah!" Sirius said, "She loves to write!" "About what?" James asked. "Anything," Remus and Sirius answered. "What do you mean by 'anything'?" James asked. "She'll write stories," Remus said. "Essays," Sirius added. "Poetry," Remus added. "Poetry," James repeated, impressed. "Mhm," Remus said. "She also loves to read," Sirius added. "Is that it?" James asked. Remus and Sirius nodded. "Thank you, boys," James said as he headed for the train to find Alyssa's compartment.

VIOLET'S POINT OF VIEW

I had quickly found Molly and Alice's compartment and slid myself inside. "Hello, girls," I said happily. "Hey, Vi," Alice said. "Hey, Violet," Molly said. "Or should we call you Mrs. Potter?" Alice questioned. I rolled my eyes and said, "That will never by my name. Trust me on that." "Yeah, keep telling yourself that," Alice said. I rolled my eyes. "Can we see the animagus?" Molly asked. Ever since I had told them that I was an animagus, it was non-stop asking if they could see me in that form. I sighed and stared at them intently. "Fine, shut the curtains," I instructed. Molly immediately shut the curtains to the compartment. "Ready?" I asked. Molly and Alice nodded enthusiastically. I sighed and stood up. My hands and feet turned into small, delicate hooves. My eyes became larger and my nose grew into a small brown dot with my mouth attached. My body, head to toe, become covered in soft, tan fur. "Wow!" Molly exclaimed, "You're beautiful!" "So majestic!" Alice exclaimed. I smiled as my fingers grew back out of my hooves and I stood back at my full height. "That was amazing!" Molly exclaimed. "Open the curtains again," I instructed and Alice did so.

JAMES'S POINT OF VIEW

I went looking for Evans's compartment. I heard her sweet voice say, "Hello, girls." I smiled to myself and slammed my shoulder against the wall and listened into the compartment. "Hey, Vi," One of Ev-, oh what's the use! Evans's best friends, Alice Fortesque said. "Hey, Violet," Another one of her friends, Molly Prewett said. "Or should we call you Mrs. Potter?" Alice asked. I smirked at that and thought, Violet Daisy Potter. That sounds perfect. "That will never be my name. Trust me on that," I heard Evans say. My heart sank into the pit of my stomach. I sighed and stared at the floor as I continued to listen. "Yeah, keep telling yourself that," Alice said. I smiled at that. "Can we see the animagus?" Molly asked. "Animagus?" I asked myself. The Hogwarts Express lurched into the motion and I would've blown my cover if someone hadn't closed the curtains on their compartment. I looked underneath the curtains and found Evans no where to be seen in the compartment. Only Alice, Molly, and...A DOE? My mouth hung open. "Evans is a animagus!" I whispered to myself. I brought myself back to my feet and ran around the entire train looking for Moony, Wormtail, and Padfoot. Apparently, Moony and Padfoot left out one thing about Violey Evans that was not only very interesting, but very important.
