JAMES'S POINT OF VIEW
I stumbled as I ran. I was so confused. I was so befuddled. Violet Evans. An unregistered animagus. It's illegal and she could get into trouble with the ministry. She's not as innocent as I thought she was, I thought as I continued to run around the train to try and find Moony, Wormtail, and Padfoot.
I finally found their compartment and ran inside. Moony had gone to Prefect duties and I suspected Evans had joined him. "Guys, you will not believe this," I said immediately as I entered the compartment. "Violet actually said yes to you?" Padfoot guessed. I glared at him and continued, "Evans is an animagus." "WHAT?" Wormtail exclaimed, as befuddled as I was. "I saw it! She's a doe!" I exclaimed. "You were spying on her?" Padfoot asked. "Well...Technically, yes but it was a good thing I did!" I exclaimed. "Hey guys, guess who I dragged along back with me," Moony said as he entered the compartment with an utterly disgusted Violet Evans trailing behind. "Her! She's an animagus!" I yelled pointing a shaking finger at the girl that I've had a monumental crush on since first year.

VIOLET'S POINT OF VIEW
I sighed as Remus dragged me into the compartment with him. I lazily stepped into the compartment as Remus said, "Hey guys, guess who I dragged along back with me." I sighed and Sirius chuckled. "Her! She's an animagus!" Potter yelled while pointing a shaking finger at me. "What?" Remus asked as he stared at me. I couldn't do anything but stare at Potter. I couldn't move. I could barely breath. I stood up and was merely a few centimetres away from Potter's face as I asked, "How did you know that I am an animagus?" "Wait...You are? I thought he was joking!" Sirius exclaimed. "How could you not tell us?" Remus asked. I looked from Remus to Sirius then back to Potter and asked, "How the hell did you even find out that I'm an animagus?" "He said he saw you change into a doe," Sirius answered for him. I turned back to James with enlarged eyes. "You...Were SPYING ON ME!" I yelled at the top of my voice. "Well...Yeah, but-," James started but I cut him off, "You disgusting little weasel!" Sirius stepped forward and said, "It was a good thing he did because you didn't even tell your best friends that you're an animagus!" "Why didn't you tell us, Violet?" Remus asked. "Because I knew what you would think! I know what you're thinking, Remus!" I yelled, "You're thinking that I have to some how take the charm off before the ministry finds out!" I turned towards Sirius and said, "And you're thinking that James and I are going to go out because his animagus is a stag and mine is a doe!" "Wait, wait, wait," Sirius said as he stood from his seat, "We told you all about our animagi so why didn't you tell us about yours?" I kept my lips pressed together and I sighed and said, "Because too many people know already." "Other people know?" Remus asked. "But your two best friends didn't know," Sirius continued. "I had told Lily. She's my sister. Then she told Alice who told Molly and I didn't want anyone else knowing," I explained. "Just leave," Sirius said. "But guys-," I started. "Just go," Remus said. I blew out a breath through my nose and left that compartment without a word.
My heart had sank into the pit of my stomach. I walked slowly and carelessly back to my compartment. Tears stained my cheeks as I walked. I found the compartment and slumped in my seat. "What happened?" Molly asked. I explained everything that had happened. "Merlin's. Beard," Alice said. I nodded and wiped my tears from my face. "This was not how I wanted to start fifth year," I sighed. Molly's younger brothers who are in my year, Fabian and Gideon, walked into the compartment. They had huge smiles on until they saw me in this dreadful state. "Violet, what's wrong?" Fabian asked. I sighed and explained everything. Even the part that I was an animagus. "Well, to tell the truth...," Fabian started. "I sort of agree with them," Gideon finished. "Guys," I sighed. They smirked and said in unison, "But we won't leave your side like that." I smiled and said, "Thanks boys." "Want to go prank?" Fabian asked. "Nah, not right now," I said. They both nodded and left the compartment. "Now I just need to figure out how to get my best friends back," I sighed, "And it's all Potter's fault, too." "It is not," Molly insisted. I rolled my eyes and said, "How so?" Molly went silent as her lips clapped back together. "Exactly," I sighed as I placed my chin in my palm.

I sat curled up with one of my favourite books, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them by Newt Scamander. Lily had walked in about an hour earlier and Molly had explained everything for me as I read. Lily was crushed that Remus and Sirius would do that to me but I told her it wasn't hers to worry about. As I continued reading I heard a slight knock on the compartment door. My head shot upwards along with Alice's, Molly's, and Lily's. Potter stood on the other side of the clear glass door. I sighed and Lily opened it. "Potter," Lily sighed as she sat down. "What? Do all of you hate me?" Potter asked. "No. Lily hates you because she's my twin and naturally, you're supposed to hate anyone who stalks your siblings if you really care about that sibling," I explained. Potter nodded and stood in the doorway awkwardly. "What do you want?" I asked irritably. "I want apologise," Potter answered. "Whoa," Alice said. "Stop the world," Molly said. "Potter wants to apologise for something?" Lily asked in utmost disbelief. Potter sighed and said, "It's my fault that Moony and Padfoot are acting all cold to you, now." "This is a new side to you, Potter," I said, "One that isn't annoying and stupid." "Does that mean I'm accepted?" Potter asked hopefully. "No," I answered simply. Potter's shoulders dropped as he asked, "Why not?" "Because, you lost me my two best friends," I answered. None of the girls took offence to this since they knew that Sirius and Remus were my first friends that I made at Hogwarts,
I sat upon the stool to finally get sorted. It was my first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and I was extremely excited, and also a bit nervous, to finally have my chance at the Sorting Hat. "Hmmmm...," The hat cooed when it was placed atop my head, "Very interesting, Ms. Evans." I went to thank the hat but realised, It's a hat. "Very bold. Wild. Creative. Nice. Also a bit sassy at times," The hat said and my cheeks flushed red. "Could fit into all the houses! Hmmm....Very tricky you are, Ms. Evans," The hat went on. We sat in silence for a while until I nearly jumped out of my skin when the hat yelled, "GRYFFINDOR!" I smiled widely and jumped down from the stool and walked towards the Gryffindor table. I sat in front of a boy with shaggy, curly, long, brown hair. He had brown eyes to match and was very pale as well. He smiled at me and said, "I'm Sirius Black." I smiled back and said, "I'm Violet Evans."
Next was a boy named Remus Lupin. He took a seat next to me and smiled at both Sirius and I who had grown quite fond of the other. "Hello. I'm Remus. Remus Lupin," The boy said. "Violet Evans," I introduced myself. "Sirius Black," Sirius said. And with that, and instant friendship was born only to be ruined years later.
I sighed and nearly shut the door in Potter's face as tears fell down my cheeks. I had my hand on the door handle but Potter's face went into a pleading phase. "Please, just let me help you, Evans," Potter said. I sighed and let my arm fall back to my side. I crossed my arms over my chest and said, "I'm listening."
