Danielle's POV

It's midnight and I find myself unable to sleep. My mind is consumed with thoughts of what happened earlier at the mall. She's so sweet and tender. I can feel my cheeks heating up just thinking about her. No, stop it but asdfghhjl----

I handed her the cat headband that I had brought with me. The joy on her face when she received it was priceless. Seeing her smile made the gift even more beautiful, and it made me so much happier knowing that it was because of me.

"Thank you, this is so cute," she said as she put on the headband. It suited her perfectly, enhancing her natural beauty.

But then, she surprised me by saying
"I have something for you too." Oh, She got something for me too?

It's a bracelet with my initial in it. I'll definitely keep it because it's from her

"Thank you, Haerin. I'll wear this always" I said, my voice filled with genuine gratitude and excitement. I quickly put the bracelet on my wrist, feeling a sense of warmth and connection.

"I've never been this happy in my life. I love your company" she confessed, and my cheeks flushed even more. Haerin has become more expressive lately, making it harder for me to ignore this undescribable feelings of mine.

I'm squealing with joy as I replay these scenarios in my head. I've been smiling for hours, looking like a complete and utter fool. But deep down, I can't help but wonder if there's something more to my feelings for Haerin.

Do I already like her?

No, this can't be. She's just being friendly, right? Haerin is aromantic, after all. Don't forget that, Danielle.

I opened my phone and find my friends still awake chatting about earlier too, we're friends, no doubt.
