Harry was upset as Ron stormed out of the room, he helped me up before sitting back down on the stone ledge where we previously were. He sat with his back hunched over, arms leaning on his knees, his head hanging and his hands grabbing roughly on the back of his head. I really want to help him but I found myself struggling for words to say. I'm not good at comforting people, I can only put that down to my childhood having limited time around people and them never showing emotions, only Dobby could have helped when I was very young however that was very short-lived.

"I'm sorry."

Harry looked up at me confused, "Why? You haven't done anything."

I sat down next to him, "I know but you don't deserve this, you've been nothing but good to me and you shouldn't have to suffer because of my past actions."

He turned towards me and held my hands, "I'm not leaving you Draco, yes you may have done some bad things in the past. And that causes people to judge you because they think that they know you, but look I've now gotten to know the real you and that's nothing like what you truly are. If people refuse to give you another chance or change their opinions for no reason well that's their loss and I don't want anything to do with them."

"But Weasley is your best friend?"

"Well right now he is being a git and I'm not going to bother stressing myself with that so he can just get over it and apologise."

"Why would you just get rid of your friendship? I'm not worth it."

"Yes you are Draco, besides if Ron wants to put me in the position of making me choose then he isn't worth it, I don't want anyone around me that would put me in that position of choosing between people, it's just not right. Come on now, we'd best head to bed," he said grabbing me gently by the hand.

We both walked together down the stairs, his hand on my lower back guiding us together. We snuck around and he led me down to the dungeons, I felt hesitant being down here but I just hoped that most people would be asleep by now so I wouldn't have to deal with anyone.

"Night Draco," Harry whispered, his face was close to mine, I felt his warm breath on my cheeks, blushing I respond.

"Good night Harry," I said flustered.

A slight chuckle left his lips at my demeanour and he left, jogging back up towards the Gryffindor tower.

I entered into the Sytherin house however, a great fear overcame me, I couldn't sleep in my dorm since it's shared with both Theodore and Blaise, I can't be alone in a room with them now that I know they are far more dangerous to me than first thought. I settle in front of the fire, onto the black leather sofa I lay and attempt to get some sleep.

I wake up as I can hear lots of people chattering, they must be making their ways to breakfast. I should go, I know I won't have anything but at least I could see Harry but best just keep my distance, I best not cause him any more distress.

I enter the great hall, as usual recipes of great delicacies overflow the tables, I place myself onto the Slytherin table close to the door, I look over to the Gryffindor table to see Harry sitting with Thomas and Longbottom, Weasel and Granger a few places further up the table to him. Weasel gave Harry the cold shoulder and when he or Granger weren't looking I noticed he was scowling at the back of his head. Weasel's eyes panned into my direction, he noticed me and smirked. He stood on the bench which was really noticeable due to his tall 6'3, lanky frame.

"HEY EVERYONE!" the ginger shouted, cupping his hands to his face to amplify his voice and it echoing on all the walls of the hall, everyones attention was brought straight to him.

"EVERYONE KNOWS THAT MALFOY IS A SELF-SERVING BRAT?" people in the crowd were quick to agree with him and others just looked confused to what he was doing, no matter eyes were starting to set upon me now.

"Ron, what are you doing?" Harry said in a normal tone trying to stop him.

"You see already trying to defend him, why? HARRY HERE THINKS WE SHOULD JUST FORGIVE MALFOY AND FORGET EVERY HORRIBLE THING HE HAS DONE TO US. HE HAS TORMENTED US FOR YEARS AND NOW OUR SO-CALLED SAVIOUR IS TRYING TO DEFEND HIM."

Whispers were surrounding me, eyes were dashing between Harry and I, I was starting to panic. My knee wouldn't stop bouncing, my hands were sweaty and I started to feel my breath falling short. I was debating whether to run out of the hall however that thought was soon interrupted.

"Why are you being such an arse, Ronald," screeched Hermione, smacking Weasel hard with the few books she had with her.
