SHUBMAN

I am Shubman Gill, the next owner of Inco Corp. from the Gill family. I have an elder brother who has established his own company called Incotern Corp., which is a sister company to mine.

Today, I had a really important meeting with one of my French clients here in Delhi. I hope to get this deal. It's really important for my dad who has been working hard for it.

Also, it was my birthday yesterday, and we had a huge celebration! My family is well known here in Udaipur, and they wanted to make it a big event.

As I'm getting older, my family is pressuring me to get married. However, I have no interest in marriage, girlfriends, or any such relationships. Unfortunately, to secure ownership of the company, I will have to enter into marriage. Today, during dinner, we will discuss this matter further.

It was almost dinner time, and my mom had called me to ensure that I would be there for dinner. I come from a large family, and we all live together in our ancestral home, Haveli Gill. The bond between my family members is strong, and we share a great connection!

For my family, I have an elder brother named Aryaman and his wife, Kiana bhabhi. Then, I have a younger sister named Shahneel, and our parents are Kaert and Lakhwinder Gill. We all live together with my grandparents, Shekar Chachu (uncle) and Shehnaaz Chachi (auntie), along with their children, Karan, who is the same age as me and Akanksha who is 23 years old. Additionally, there is my foi (dad's sister) and her daughter, Disha, who is 18. We also have servants who work for us in the haveli.

Now a lot of people will ask why foi lives with us. But that story is for another time.

SARA

"Yes, Didi (sis), I'm coming..." My sister called me because she's video calling with our mom.

Oh, wait, let me introduce myself. I am Sara, Sara Tendulkar. I am an MBA student at Kings University in London. Currently, I am in the last year of my studies! In June, I will officially graduate. Right now, I am staying with my sister Kiara and Akash jiju (brother-in-law) in London. After my studies, I plan to go back to India and take over my father's business.

Just as I entered the kitchen, my ai (mom) bombarded me with questions. "Sa, when are you coming? You have to come this month! I have news for you, and I can't wait to tell you! Tell me..." and so on. That's when I decided to speak up. "Ai (mom), wait a moment and take a breath. First of all, why should I come to India now? You know I'm graduating in June, and after that, I'm already planning to shift to India. So, at least let me enjoy my last few months here in London," I said.

"No, beta (dear), your father and I have an important news for you. We will only tell you once you come here! Your baba (father) is booking your tickets for Thursday, which is the 27th of November. You already have a month-long holiday. You can spend some time with us here in Mumbai." Wait, what? Thursday, as in two days from now?! She must be kidding me. Ugh, why God, why?

"Yes, Ai (mom), okay. I'll be there! Please send me my flight tickets." And with that she ended the call.

"Di (sis) , why is ai (mom) calling me right now to india? I really don't want to go." "Sa just go, it might be urgent otherwise why would she call you out of nowhere!" Said didi (sis)

I entered my room and started packing for India! Going to India means meeting my whole family, and I can't wait for it! My brother Arjun is my cutie pie, even though he hates me, hahaha. And I adore my cousins Aaryan and Sia! I can't forget my Aji and Ajoba (grandmother and grandfather), and also both my Kakas and Atyas (uncle and auntie)!

Thursday came by quickly. For the last two days, I've been packing and shopping for my family, as they love gifts from London. Kiara didi (sister) and Akash jiju (brother-in-law) came to drop me off at the airport.

"Bye Dii (sis)," I said, giving her a big hug. "I will miss you..."

"Don't worry, Sa! Your time in India will fly by like a plane. Before you know it, it will be time for you to come back here!" she assured me.

"Bye jiju (brother-in-law)," I said, giving him a side hug. "Bye Sa, see you super soon! And don't forget to bring all the stuff I've written on the list!" he laughed.

"Of course, I won't forget, jiju, hahaha."

After saying goodbye to both of them, I entered the airport. Who knows, this may be the last time I'm in London before...
